Final Selection

We parted from Urokodaki a couple days ago, right now we need to make it to final selection to see if we can become Demon Slayers.
I'm in my giant form, it looks like my normal form but more tiger-like.
Tanjiro's on my back, and I'm swiftly running through the trees up this mountain.
I start to spot purple flowers, their beautiful but oddly enough, they reek.
My nose scrunches up and I shake my head trying to rid the smell of my nose.
"Kasai?.."
Tanjiro's voice startled me and I jumped back keeping him on my back.
"Sorry if I scared you!" He chuckled softly and I sighed.
"What's wrong with the flowers?"
I huff slightly and cough, rubbing my nose with my paw.
"Could that mean... no.. it couldn't."
Tanjiro laughs and looks at me with a soft smile.
"Your not one of them, you couldn't be,"
'Yeah, you got that right dude.'
We continue walking until we meet a point where a few people are gathered.

There are normal looking people of course but out of the bunch I spot a yellow haired boy with a yellow kimono.
A boy with spiky, long black hair and an angry look on his face.
And a girl with black hair and what looks like a butterfly ponytail holder.
I'm getting a ton of weird looks until I transform back into my small form and hop on Tanjiro's shoulder.
"We've made it!"
He whispered eagerly into my ear.
I kuu in response which earns a chuckle.
I jump when the two girls at the front spoke.
"Welcome. Thank you for coming."
"You have a week to survive in the forest of Wisteria."
"Good luck."
"Yes."
[im too lazy to rewatch and find out what they actually say.]

Tanjiro nodded, a determined look on his face and we walked inside the forest where so many deaths have occurred.

... a few hours later.

Tanjiro and I have held up so far, only a few demons have spotted us but I sense something dangerous.
I look up in the air and start to growl, I smell something fowl.
"What is it, boy?.."
I whine and look over in the direction of the smell.
"What's over there?.."
Tanjiro starts walking towards the smell, I think he smells it.

In the distance I hear things snapping and stomping, and then I see it.
A huge demon, it looks almost deformed and lumpy.
"What is that thing?" Tanjiro looks terrified, and honestly, I am too.
Another person runs at it but gets pushed back.
"Run!"
Tanjiro screams at the person.
He listens, of course and runs.
I stare at the demon in awe and fear.
"Your one of the old mans students."
It's voice is disgusting.
"How do you know?"
The demon makes a terrifying laughing sound.
"That fox mask you have here, little fox's like you are tasty.."
"What do you mean by that..?"
It grins.
"All of Urokodakis students are living in here."
It looked down at its stomach.
"Kasai.."
Tanjiro looks at me, I nod and transform into my huge form, I light my jaws on fire.
"How do you know Urokodaki?"
The demon smirks and then a look of hatred crosses his eyes.
"That damned old man is the one who put me in here..."
Tanjro jumps up in the air and slashes at the demon with his blade.

A few more moments of slashing a Tanjiro looks like he's getting worn out.
"Kasai! Attack it's neck! Distract it!"
I lunge at its neck and lights it's head on fire while Tanjiro's blade engulfs in water.
He jumps in the air once more and with one cut, slices the demons head off.

I know I said I'd post this sooner but uh, something came up.
