"Eh?" We all said in disbelief while staring at Ahri.
I've seen her act excited for various things before, like movies, games and cosmetics, but never before had I seen her gush over a person like that. I glanced towards Akali and Evelynn trying to see if they had an idea to what was going on, only to be met with the same look.
Desperate for an answer, we turned towards Seraphine and her friend. She looked as confused as us while her friend would have looked like he didn't care if it weren't for his surprised eyes.
"M'am I think you might... have the wrong person." He said with an impressively emotionless face.
"Wow, Eve really did a number on his throat." I thought with a guilty expression.
Ahri seemed confused as she pointed at herself.
"It's me! Fox_Girl1994!" She said making us give her a deadpan look.
"Seriously Ahri?" Said Akali.
"You know, in hindsight that should have been pretty obvious." He said to himself after a moment of silence.
"Wait, what's going on?" Asked Seraphine.
"I think that's what everyone here wants to know." I thought to myself.
"A couple of days after I posted my... first video, I was contacted by someone who... turns out to be her." He said while nodding towards our fox.
"I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed your video. At first." She followed.
"Which turned into us sending messages... to each other on the regular. Mostly about music related topics and sometimes... how we've been." He continued.
"That's kinda sweet." I said outloud by accident.
"Why have I never heard of this before?" Asked the pink haired girl.
"It was my first online friend. I wanted to see how I'd handle it... on my own." He said with a shrug before pointing at Ahri. "What I don't understand is why you... knew who I was at a glance."
Ahri gained a mischievious look as she placed her hands on her hips while bucking them sideways.
"I saw your face reveal last week." She told him with a tinge of pride in her voice.
"Oh right, I did... do that."
"You did?" Asked our new recruit.
"Yeah, it was a livestream... with no VOD, to celebrate hitting 1k subs." He answered her while we were just staring at the three of them.
"I knew I just had to be there when I saw the announcement." Said our fox with a smug smile. "I even had Eve fill in for a meeting that I was supposed to go to."
The whole time she was talking, I saw that he was side eyeing one of Evelynn's scarves that was hung up by the door.
"THAT'S what you made me cancel my salon appointment for?" Menacingly asked the succubus, stealing the vastya attention away from Seraphine's friend.
He used that opportunity to snatch the scarf and quickly wrap his neck in a fashionable way while hiding his bruise.
"I said I would make it up to you and I did right?" She said before turning back to our guests. "Sorry about that."
