Sorry for the delay. I had trouble ending this one.

The following message will be added to the first chapter to avoid further comments on the subject:

I've received a couple of comments asking to mention who's POV the chapter is written in. Short answer? I won't. While I understand that it can be confusing to start the first couple of sentences of a chapter without knowing who it is, I always leave a sentence of two with details specific to a character that should clue the reader in one who's narrating. Some of you might not like it, I understand, but that is how I want to write my stories.

That's all from me. I hope you enjoy this chapter.

"I can't believe this shit." I thought while holding myself back from throwing a kunai into a wall.

Kai was really mad last time I did that...

The girls assigned me to take care of y/n, or 'put my nurse training to good use' as they said. It's not like I didn't want to, but just like they had their side businesses to take care off, I had one too.

At least, I did until I received a text from Quiyana saying that Kai'Sa 'insisted' on them taking care of it for me. Apparently, Kai didn't tell her about y/n, just that I had other stuff to do currently. It was followed by a comment asking if she should fear for her life.

"I understand the need to help him, but..." I thought while looking at myself in my mirror.

"Why the fuck do I have to wear this?!"

"Alright Kali! We'll probably be busy for most of the day, and Sera is most likely going to be the first one back today." I heard Ahri tell me from behind my bedroom's door.

"Yeah, yeah, I get it. Just leave already!" I screamed back in annoyance.

"Again, I'm really sorry about this." She said with an sympathetic laugh.

"I knew I should have left when I had that bad feeling." I muttered to myself remembering yesterday's events.

.......

"Alright! Thanks my man!" I told our employee over the phone before hanging up.

They were going to bring the stuff we left back at the concert up here. I was about to rejoin the girls when I was suddenly seized by a feeling of dread.

"That's weird, That usually happens when I'm danger. What's going on?" I wondered while silently approaching the living room.

"Sounds to me like they're talking like usual. Maybe it was just my imagination." I reassured myself before jumping into the room.
