Chapter 4

Dream's POV

"You okay?"

I lifted my head up and turned around, standing before me was a guy that looked my age, probably the same height, if not, taller. He had an orange fox tail and ears and was wearing the school uniform but with a black jacket over it.

I let out a deep sigh, "Yeah, just a bad day..."

I see him clutch the book in his hands nervously, "You wanna talk about it?"

I gave him a suspicious look and he fumbled after the long silence. "Oh, uh, I'm Fundy! I'm a sophomore." He reaches his hand out for me to shake.

"I'm Dream, I'm also a sophomore.." I reach my hand out to shake his hand.

Maybe I should talk about it with him, then this could be my chance to have a new friend! "Also, yeah, I do want to talk about my day..."

His face lit up, his tail suddenly wagging extremely fast to show his excitement.

"I'll bring you to my table then!" He grabs my hand, practically dragging me through the library to go sit at his table. Wow, he's really happy, but why?

Before we got to the table, someone grabbed Fundy's hand. Surprise, surprise it was Techno. "You can't talk to him either." He said with his usual stern voice. He glared at me and looked back at Fundy "Wilbur's looking for you." Jeez, does he want me to have no friends? Is this his stupid way of getting some kind of revenge?

"Well can it wait-!" He got cut off as Techno pulled him away abruptly.

As Fundy was being dragged away, he turned to me and gave a desperate look.

"We'll meet again!" he shouted from afar as he was turning a corner. I gave him a thumbs up and waved goodbye.

3rd POV

As Dream stood there in the middle of the library, he realized his plans on getting a new friend were failing. His plan always ended with the same result.

1) He would plan on talking to someone

2) He'd get close to talking to someone

3) Techno shows up

4) He drags his almost new friend away from him

With a disappointed sigh, he began to walk away. "Why me..." He draws his words out.

Frustrated, he put his hands up to his smiley mask and rubbed it aggressively up and down. "Guess I'll go back to Sapnap and George."

He dragged his feet down the halls, making his way to the cafeteria. On his way there, he thought about what Sapnap said, maybe it's time to turn a new leaf. He would usually get into fights with Techno about things like this, but maybe it was time to change.

He chuckled aloud thinking about it, "New year new me, I guess."

Before he knew it, he was already at the cafeteria. He made his way to the back of the cafeteria where his friends sat, sitting down along with them. George was the first to notice Dream, "Hey, welcome back. Any luck?" He asked.

Dream was about to respond when he noticed a new person sitting at their table. Specifically beside Sapnap. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

"Karl?"

"Hey, Dream! Nice to see you again, Sapnap invited me over!" Karl said, smiling happily.

Dream smirked, "Really? Didn't think he had the balls."
