                “I did as you asked.”

                “What was her reaction?”

“She accepted, just as you said she would.”

                “Thank you, pet.”

                “You’re welcome.”

Lucia:

“I don’t understand why he needs a slave. It’s not like he’d have any fun with it.” I told Vincent as we walked to the auction house.

“He says he gets lonely sometimes, so he wants a companion.”

“Okay.” I grumbled. More slaves meant more annoying humans in the house.

“Your highnesses,” the guards gasped, “welcome.” They moved out of our way and open the doors.

“That’s certainly not something I think I’ll get used to anytime soon.” I told him as he moved his arm around my waist.

“You will eventually, because most likely we’ll always have the throne.”

“What do you mean?” I knew that vampires lived forever, but they usually got killed or stepped down.

“I’m working on something big, love. That’s why I’ve been staying out late.”

“Yeah, out away from me. I barely get to see you as it is.” I pouted.

“Sweetheart, don’t worry. What I’m working on will keep us safe and together forever.” That was all of the talking because we had arrived at the auction room. People bowed to us as we entered. The bidding had already begun. A young girl was on stage. She couldn’t be older than 15. She was the average size and height of a teenage girl. Her brunette hair was mixed with red. Throughout her hair were golden highlights. Her eyes were dark brown. She was adorable and I knew Gren would like her.

“I think we should get that one.” I whispered to him.

“Whatever you think he’ll want. We aren’t going to be dealing with her.” I was relieved at this. We were dealing with more than we should be already.

“Nena is a fourteen year old human. She does as she’s told and is very timid. The bidding begins at $20, 000.”

I looked at Vincent expecting him to bid right away, but he didn’t. He listened to the price go up until it stopped. Then he spoke “$50, 000.” Everyone looked at him, much like they did at my auction, but this time they all bowed to him.

“Oh your majesties, you will not have to pay. Have the girl for free!” The slave seller told us. Vincent smiled.

“Thank you, sir.” He told the man as we approached the stage. Then he turned to Nena, “Come.” She ran to catch up with us.

“Who are you? Where am I?” She cried. I shook my head as I laughed.

“Did I sound like that?” I asked Vincent.

“No darling, you did not. You were much feistier. Don’t you remember? You ran.” He laughed with me while he swung our hands.

“I do remember. You told me I was going to be punished for weeks, with Charles. Sucker.” I stuck my tongue out at him.

“What do you mean “sucker”?” Vincent asked, pretending to be offended.

“Oh come on, love, I had you totally wrapped from the beginning.” I giggled.

“That you did, darling, that you did.”

“What are you?” The girl screamed. I sighed.

“Listen, bitch, shut up and keep walking. I’m not dealing with you. Your master can tell you what’s going on when we get home.” I told her. Vincent looked at me clearly shocked.

“Lucia, you don’t have to be so mean.” He told me. I stopped walking and so did they.

“Oh so you’re going to defend her?” I shot at him.

“No, I’m not. You’ve been acting really weird lately, so knock it off.” I set my jaw as I stared him down, “Okay, I’m sorry. Let’s go home and have make-up sex.” He grabbed my ass.

“I’m sorry, too. I just don’t want to deal with all of this shit. It’s ridiculous. I’m tired and hungry and I want to go home.” I whined.

“I know, and you shouldn’t have to deal with all of this. I can start taking over, at least until the baby is born. You can rest.” He smiled at me.

                “I love you.” I whispered.

“I love you too.” His lips brushed mine.

I looked back to the new slave. She was dressed in rags and looked filthy. “I-I’m scared. Can you please tell me what’s going on?” She said barely above a whisper.

“Sure.” I told her, “We’re vampires. You’re a human. We own you. You do as we say. You are no longer a person.” I shrugged.

“What do you mean? Like movies? Is this some kind of joke?” She was frantic.

“No. This is not a movie, nor is it a joke. You will do as you’re told or you will be severely punished, do you understand?” I asked, now on face level with her.

“No!” She screamed and slapped me in the face.

“You fucking bitch!” Vincent screamed and grabbed her by the neck, “You’re going to pay for that.” He hit her head against a rock, which caused her to immediately pass out. Then he came over to me, “Are you okay?” He asked.

“Yes. I want to hurt her.” I gave him a devilish smiled, which he returned.

“Mind if I help?” He bit his lip when he was finished speaking. It turned me on and I wanted him. I wanted him to be covered in her blood.

“No, master, I don’t mind.” I pulled him into a passionate kiss. Our bodies and tongues moved against each other as we got lost in the other’s embrace.
