Chapter 13

The One That Kills For Love

Blake's POV

I held the information sheet in my hand the material gripped within my fingers, I looked up Cain leaned against the wall brushing his hair away from his eyes.

"Don't you think it's cruel that you had to lie to Cherry about meeting her after what had happened." He titled his head looking at me, his lips held tight together in a line. I sighed running my fingers through my hair.

I was cruel no doubt about it. I had only followed orders that I didn't favour.

"Let's just get this mission done with." I gritted my teeth recalling the memories from last night, Cherry was a beauty and was from the moment I had seen her. I loved her more than she could imagine but with every request comes a cost.

Though Cherry was told to be away from me for a long amount of months, King Jasper did not reveal that I was going to pay the cost personally. He did not hit me or threaten me, instead he had decided to use me.

In the training camp we were all weaklings and were quickly grown into powerful men, and that resulted into doing missions that had been asked by the Council. This was the price of the transformation, Cherry wasn't informed and had to be focused on her pack instead of me.

I hated the fact that I had to lie to her beautiful face.

"You coming lover boy." Cain glanced back as he walked outside, I nodded sticking my hands into my pockets, I sighed looking to the bright blue sky my eyes got lost into them. Cherry what are you doing now?

We had arrived at the destination, it was a quite area. A cabin sat at the near lake by the dock, it was mostly surrounded by the tall trees, I opened the door closing it lightly.

"This is the place." Cain sighed, together both me and him had the best teamwork skills ans we were deemed as the best duel team in the camp from what I know. We walked slowly towards the cabin hearing the door opened out came two other men.

We had to play the role of two men from one of the client's assiant's and were hear for an errand, but these men were actually the gateway to the black market of the weapons only the Council should have. We were ordered to get information out of them. . .Or so be it kill them.

Cherry could never find out what I was doing. . .She wouldn't realize the amount of blood I had coated my hands. . .And I could care less about the blood.

One was tall and built well, with short brown hair with tattoo's scattering his body. The shorter figure had a buzz cut with a stern look. Like he had bit a lemon.

"Are you the guys for the trade?" The taller one asked, the shorter one had given me a curious glance he had known of something.

The lake in the distance shimmered, Cherry would have loved it here.

"Yeah, we have Leon's money in the case. Mind if we come in?" Cain asked, in a deep voice. The taller man nodded making our ways into the house. I sighed as I glanced behind, the forest blocked with tall trees.

No one will see there screams of horror.

"Denny!" The shorter man yelled as Cain stuck a knife through his calf, Denny cried in pain tears leaking in his eyes.

"Urgh." Denny groaned, Cain sighed taking a step back looking at him. He turned to me with a large smile.

"Look at my beautiful piece of art, Blake." I laughed, smirking.

"I've seen better." He frowned, shrugging his shoulders we both changed our attention to the two men.

They were both tied to the chairs, with tight restraints. Sweat coated there body like a second coat, I titled the knife in my hand looking at Denny.

"Now, what should I go for your neck or your heart." It was no doubt it would hurt a lot and possibly kill them, Denny's eyes widened largely. The shorter man, Jeff yelled. "F-Fine I'll tell you." He panted, Denny sent him a panicked look.

"There is a abandoned house were they store the weapons. It's located by the end of the Mailk's forest." Cain smirked with a devilsh intent I couldn't help but share to.

"Aren't you a good boy?" I spoke as my knife gently dug into his collarbone, he looked at me with feared eyes. He couldn't feel it because of all the adrenaline in his blood.

"Now what weapons are there?" I asked lightly, looking over to Denny who didn't look to well. He was turning pale and sweating a lot.

"The sliver bullets and the traquallizers." He heavily panted, I closed my eyes breathing in the scent of blood. A sinster look taking both my features and Cain, with the knife in my head I held it to his neck.

"Thank you for your service." I swiped the knife across his neck, his eyes rolling to the back of his head as his friend, Denny let out a horrid scream. "P-Please, o-oh god. D-Don't kill me." Denny pleaded.

I took the hand towel and wiped the blood on to the cloth giving Cain a nod, You could hear the sounds of flesh being ripped apart, something about Cain was weird when he killed he had prefered to rip the person to pieces.

It was a action that had reminded him of the pain he felt when he had gotten rejected.

 "Let's head back."

Clark approached us, he gave us a light smile. He was getting older each and every passing day but it had not affect his looks.

"We had gotten the information we needed." Cain sighed, as he handed the case back to Clark, who took it.

"It is supposed to be at the end of Malik's forest, in an abandoned forest," I said as I glanced at the training field. Recently we had received a couple more boys, it was only me and Cain's turn to start training them.

"Good. I will have Garret take a further look into it." Clark nodded at Cain. His eyes turned to me filled with unbearable pity, something I truly hate.

"Blake, over at Black Moon pack we had received info on an great accident." His fingers dug into his pocket as his eyes avoided me, it was a habit of his when he had delivered bad messages.

"There was an rogue attack at Alpha Tyler's pack. The Black Moon had quickly assisted them, it was an easy fight but someone great to the pack was sacrificed, I am truly sorry for the next words I am about to say." Cain held his breath looking at me.

P-Please. D-don't let me think like this.

"They had fought next to the Devils river." I clenched my fists. "An warrior was injuried which had no way of protecting himself, both the Beta and Alpha had attacked him."

"But, before the warrior could be hurt, she saved him. She knocked over both the Beta and Alpha over into the Devil's river, but she was pulled down."

The Devil's river was known to be an sucidial area, no one to fall into there had survived it was simple like that.

" I am sorry for your loss."
