Chapter 14 

Cherry's POV

I carefully examined Ryan's arm, he looked up at me with sealed lips, "it's completely healed." He mumbled, "well we are wolves it's suppose to be healed quickly." I raised a eyebrow at him, he bit the inside of his lips as he looked up at me.

   "If I remember right I know that it will take at least, 30.5 seconds, your blood made it instant." He looked up at me yet again, I took a deep breath as I gently ruffled his mangled hair, he slowly but lightly smiled up at me.

  "Well I guess you can call me a superhero of some sort." Than did I heard Luca exclaimed his eager hands grabbing at my dressed wounds, I watched with amusement as he did so seeing as Ryan widened his eyes as his younger brother attacked me with a large attack of giggles.

  "Luca mom is s-" I raised my hand at him as he shut his mouth immediately and scowled a bit. Luca sat on my lap his eyes gleaming with happiness and a playfulness that very much reminded me of a person I knew to well.

  "Cherry." I heard the voice rumble from the doorway, their had stood Carter and a sobbing blond, her black eyeliner making streaks down her pale cheeks. "Oh dear god." She cried out before launching herself at me.

   I cursed lowly at her as she hugged me tighter only sobbing into my shoulder, "C-Cherry." She hiccuped, making me hide the smirk along my lips, "I-I thought you died." She spoke louder, as she pulled back examining my wounds.

   Jenny wrapped her arms yet again around my shoulders, I mentally smiled larger, this was why I had loved her dearly and would kill any person who had threatened her at all. She was my best friend, someone who been through it with me all the time.

  Ryan and a curious Luca watched Jenny sob in my arms, shortly after bringing Ryan back to my pack he had demanded to personally treat me himself, I have to say this kid was indeed a genius and even though he wasn't use to the equipment used for medical emergencies he had gotten use to it as soon as our pack doctor, Doctor Jones, he seemed impressed by Ryan's medical skills.

    "Auntie?" Luca's light voice made Jenny pull back from crying, she rubbed her eyes with the back of her sleeve looking at the two kids. Luca looked at her with interest, "auntie?" He repeated again, she looked to me and I nodded.

   She was unsure but nodded, suddenly Luca jumped into her arms wrapping his arms around her neck, she was taken back by surprised but hugged him, "that is Luca and Ryan." She hadn't spoken but held him closely as Luca had talked to her about his favorite bugs.

  She hadn't complain or argue but simple smile and listen to him quietly, I could already tell she was going to be a amazing mother.

  "Cherry." Carter breathed out his shoulder dressed in bandaging, he bit the inside of his lip before looking back to me, "it seems the King wants to meet you." I raised a eyebrow at his words, Jenny broke out her conversation with Luca.

  "She just got back, she hasn't gotten any rest." Suddenly I examined the silhouette in the doorway, he leaned against the door with a smirk on his tainted lips, piercing's peeking out from the ends of his lips.

  "Don." I growled, getting up to my feet, "who let you in here." Suddenly I heard the dark laughter resonate from him, I watched a much smaller figure compared to him suddenly tugged beside him, my eyes widened at the boy.

  "River." I whispered, I turned my eyes to the executioner, "you think I wouldn't notice another Omega you had taken in?" He took another step into the room, making Carter let out a low growl.
