"I realise that, but I can't go back, so what else would you h-"

In mid-sentence, I saw the bottle begin to topple sideways on the tray from the corner of my eye.

"Ah!!" - "...!"

I quickly tried to regain my balance, but to no avail.

The bottle fell off the tray, shattering to the floor right between us with a crash.

I watched in horror as the deep crimson liquid spread across the polished white marble floor.

Oh no... I better hurry and wipe it up!

I started to kneel, but then I noticed something very odd, stopping me in my tracks.

Wait a second... I was right. This isn't red wine at all. It was thicker, more viscous than wine... the colour of deep, ark blood.

Blood... is it really blood?

"Don't tell me you agreed to stay here without even knowing the truth?"

Yoongi narrowed his eyes at me when he saw my reaction.

"Idiotic and reckless. That's what you are." - "More insults? What are you talking about now?"

I took a step backwards, lifting my gaze from the sticky puddle on the floor. And then I saw that he had dark red splatters on his hand, too.

A cruel smile was etched upon his lips as he slowly lifted his hand to his mouth.

"Shall I tell you, poor little lamb?"

A strange feeling came over me as he slightly parted his lips and I glimpsed his tongue.

I watched as he licked the blood from his palm, the gesture somehow primal and sexy.

There was a dangerous glint in his eyes that reminded me of a beautiful, wolf seizing its prey.

"All the men who live in this mansion... are vampires."

No... No, it can't be true.

I was seized by an uncontrollable fear that seemed to spread through my entire body.

My feet began to move, and it took me a few seconds to realise I was running out of the room.

But... But deep down, I know it is. They're all really vampires!!

What Jisung told me last night was true! Why didn't I listen to him?! Did they let me in this place so I could be their next meal??

I raced down the stairs towards the foyer, without a thought in my mind but RUN.

Adrenaline pumped through me, my heart hammering like mad from the fear and anxiety.

I don't want to live here in the 19th century. But surely there must be some place safer than a mansion full of vampires!!

I jumped the last few stairs and sprinted through the foyer, but then...

I saw him.

"Hm? And where are you off to, in such a fuss?"

It's... It's one of the men from last night... Park Jimin if I remember correctly.

"...Are you a vampire, too?" - "Oh, you've already found out?"

Yoongi was telling me the truth!

Jimin drew closer to me before I could back away. An alluring smile played up on his lips.
