Final

Today was my first day working at the mansion since I had made my decision to stay.

"Well, I'll be staying here for a while, Jisung." - "Yes, I heard."

Jisung smiled at me as he washed the breakfast dishes.

"To be honest, I'm quite relieved. I get so much more accomplished around here thanks to your help."

Aw, I'm glad.

"...Well, now that you're an official resident of the mansion, how about we make a little deal?" - "...What kind of a deal?" - "Oh, don't worry. It's nothing too serious. But since you and Master Yoongi are a couple now..."

...I guess everyone knows now.

I tried to keep a casual look on my face even though I knew my cheeks were burning.

"I thought now you'll really get to learn all kinds of things about him that no one else will and then you could tell me about it."

So that's what he wants!

I gave Jisung a wary look as I remembered his notebook which contained copious notes on the residents.

"I don't really think I should tell you his secrets, Jisung." - "Oh, no need to be shy! Go ahead and tell me everything! I want to hear every romantic detail!" - "Now I definitely don't want to tell you!" - "If you agree to my deal, I shall tell you something in exchange. It's a secret I've never shared with another soul... but I suppose I would be willing to make a sacrifice."

Okay, now he's got me curious...

I waited with anticipation for more details.

"I'll tell you the recipe for my special karaage chicken." - "Karaage, as in fried chicken?!" - "Why do you look so disappointed? I promise it's the best chicken you'll ever taste!"

I was about to respond when I heard someone on the other side of the door and then Yoongi walked in, giving Jisung and me a suspicious look.

"What are you talking about? I thought I heard my name."

Uh-oh...

My brain raced, trying to think of an excuse.

"Oh, will you look at the time! I have to go to the market and do some shopping!" - "What?" - "(Y/n), you'll finish the dishes for me, won't you? Have a lovely morning, Master Yoongi!"

Despite what he said, Jisung didn't seem in a hurry at all; he bowed graciously towards Yoongi and strolled out of the room.

Traitor...

"D-Did you need something from the kitchen?" - "I was coming to get some coffee... so? What were you and Jisung talking about?"

Thanks a lot for leaving me to deal with this, Jisung!

I'd already promised Jisung not to tell anyone about his notebook.

I'll have to come up with an excuse.

"We were wondering if you would like fried chicken or not. Jisung mentioned you were picky when it came to food." - "I'll eat anything you make for me. Although my favourite food is you."

He said it with a straight face and I cleared my throat to hide my embarrassment.

He always catches me off guard like that!

"I think you were talking about something else entirely, but I'll let you off easily this time."

Well, I guess he totally saw through that.

"But in exchange, you shall have to spend the entire day with me tomorrow." - "What...?" - "There's somewhere I want to take you."
