Kasey's POV
(Earlier that afternoon)
"Kasey! Your boyfriend is here!" I hear Jenn yell from downstairs. I smile to myself and rush down the stairs. Louis is taking off his shoes when I run up and jump onto his back. He grunts but starts laughing when he sees it is me.
"Hey babe." He leans down and pecks my lips. Suddenly, my mother walks into the entrance way with an apron around her waist and a spatula in her hand. She has been cooking since 10 am. "Good afternoon Mrs. Wilson, it smells delicious in here." He gives her a hug and a kiss on the cheek.
"Come on, we can finish watching Insidious." I grab his hand and pull him along with me into the living room. He sits on the couch while I bend over in front of the tv to turn it on.
"I could get used to this view." Louis says, only loud enough for me to hear. I look back and see his tongue sticking out slightly. Oh my god, anything he does turns me on. I grab the remote and join him on the couch. Once I get the movie started, I snuggle up to him and we turn our attention to the movie.
We started this movie yesterday, but we couldn't finish it because he had to go to the stor to pick up some groceries for his mom. He is such a sweetheart.
Near the middle of the movie, Jennifer walks into the room, so I pause the movie.
"I'm leaving. Niall is here to pick me up, we are going to the movies. I think we are picking up Nena and Harry later before dinner. I'll see you two later." She grabs her ourse off the couch and heads towards the door.
"Love you!" I call out and she says the same back.
After our movie finishes, my mom calls us into the kitchen.
"Yes?" I ask when we walk inside the kitchen.
"Okay, can you two start making the crust of for the pie? I need to run to the store to pick up a filling." She starts untieing her apron and Louis goes to the sink to wash his hands.
"Glad to help." He says with a big smile.
"Oh, and call Nena and see what kind of filling she would prefer, then let me know what she says." She hangs her apron on the hook by the door.
"She will probably want apple, just saying." I call out as she opens the door.
"Just call! The recipie is on the table! I'll be right back!" The door shuts and I look over to see Louis already reading the recipie carefully.
"Okay, we need eggs, flour, sugar, salt, baking soda, and yeast." He says and I go to the pantry while he searches the fridge.
After fifteen minuets of messy mixing, we are covered in flour but we have the dough for the pie made. I need to call Nena. I unlock my phone and dial her number as Louis snakes his arms around me.
"Hello?" She answers almost instantly.
"Hey, so would you guys rather have apple, or pumpkin pie?" I ask even though I know the answer. She hates pumpkin pie.
"Hang on, I'll ask Harry." I hear her ask quietly. "Apple or pumpkin pie?" A muffled response is called in the background that I can't make out. "Harry says apple and I second that."
"I thought you'd say that. That's all. I'll see you soon!" I hang up and send my mom a text, telling her to get apple filling.
An hour later, my mom has returned and we have two mouth watering pies cooking in the oven.
"They are taking so long! I'm starving!" I complain as we stand aimlessly around the kitchen, waiting for the pies.
"They should be here any moment now. Their movie should've been doen an hour ago." Mom has a hint of warning in her voice. She hates when I complain in front of guests. Suddenly, I feel my phone buzz inmy pocket. It's Nena.
"Hello?' I hear.. sirens?
"Kasey, oh my god,. We've been in an accident, we hit a semi truck and oh my god it all happened so fast. You've got to meet us at the hospital." My heart starts beating faster. Louis can sense my nerves adn he raises his eyebrows.
"Why? What the fuck, who is hurt?" My mom's hear jerks up when I say this. "Louis! Start the car!" I am freaking out so much, I almost don't hear Nena on the other line.
"Kasey, its Jenn." My heart skips a beat.
"What happened?" My mom asks, starting to freak out too. Louis grabs the keys, and I motion for mom to follow.
"Holy shit. Okay, we will be there as soon as possible." I hang up and jump in the front seat, praying she will be okay.
"Kasey! Tell us what is going on!" My mom almost yells as Louis backs out of the driveway.
"Louis go to the hospital. They were in a car accident, they hit a semi truck. And something is wrong with Jenn mom." I look back and she gasps, clinching her chest.
Louis drives as fast as he can to the hospital and drops us off at the front.
"I'm gonna park, go find them." He says and kisses me before I hop out of the car and take mom's hand, walking through the front doors.
"Kasey!" Nena calls as soon as we walk in. She rushes up and hugs me. Her wrist is wrapped up and she has a cut on her cheek. I scan the room and see Niall curled up in a seat, crying and Harry rubbing his back. We walk over and I kneel in front of him.
"I'm so sorry. I'm so so sorry." He is sobbing uncontrollably. Jennifer, please don't be dead. Jesus, please. Louis runs in and hurries over to us.
We wait in the room for ten minuets with no news, but it feels like ten hours. Then, a doctor walks in and looks over at us.
"Uhh, can I speak to the relatives of,, Jennifer Wilson?" Mom and I jump out of our seats. Nena looks at me with sorrowful eyes and Niall just starts crying again. The doctor motions for us to come into the hallway.
"Mrs. Wilson?" He asks.
"Yes, that's me. What happened to my daughter! Is she okay?" Mom looks like she could break at any moment.
"I have some bad news."
(OH MY WORD FINALLY. So I know, cliff hanger hahahah but I didn't proff read this and I am sorry it took so ling but guess what? I got a new computer! That means I can hopefully get back to updating regularly. But I am gonna be in Nicaragua for a week, so I will try to update tomorrow mornign before I leave but no prmises. I'm sorry it took like forever but Iove you!)
