caged owl (yandere bokuto x akaashi)

Camp

Today we had a training camp with the schools in our prefecture, plus kurasuno. I didn't like how close hinata was to akaashi. I didn't like it at all. But considering I have a slight soft spot for the little guy, I think I'll plan something else. 

Even I've noticed the black haired setters stares at him. Then when Hinata turned around to the setter on his team with his usual bright smile, He'd turn away with an angry blush. My guess? Somebody's got a crush~. And this is perfect. I wont have to kill chibi-chan. He's a real asset to their team. Him either going missing mysteriously, or being found dead wouldn't be good. They'd suspect someone from here, and then nobody would be able to leave until they found the killer, and I don't have what I need to frame someone. All in all, matchmaker seems to be the best choice. 

during lunch, I sat next to the silver haired setter from their team. I believe his name's suga? Yeah, suga! That sounds right. "Hey! Suga-san!" I said enthusuastically sitting next to him. He smiles and waves. 

"Hey bokuto. You doing okay?"

"Yeah I'm great! I'm awesome after all. I say flexing my arms a bit." He chuckles. "How have you been? Your teams doing a lot of penalties." 

"We're holding up. We're doing our best, and giving it our all. Our two raging balls of sunshine keep morale up." He said gesturing to chibi-chan and their libero, who were stuffing their faces with meat and rice. I laughed. 

"Hey, what's with the other setter on the team?"

"Kegeyama?" I nod. "He's just a bit stressed I guess. He's always like this honestly."

"It could just be me, but he's red around chibi-chan."

"Hinata?" I nod. "Yeah I've noticed that too. He lashes out more around him."

"Just my thoughts, but maybe he's got a little crush." 

"On hinata?" I nod again. "Yeah I think so too. I've noticed all the staring. I wouldn't be surprised." Now was the perfect time. I acted like I just got a great idea. 

"I know! Let's set them up!" He thinks it over and smiles. 

"That's a great idea. You handle hinata, I'll handle kageyama." I nod in agreement. It's all going to plan. 

I don't know what happened with suga and kageyama, but we has a randevu point as suga called it. There was this field, and at sunset, it was a beautiful spot. Fireflies lighting up the area, with grass that would sway gently in the wind, smelling of the wildflowers, who's sent it caught in the wind. It was perfect. We had a plan to get them there at 7:30, before the sun went down completely. Right now it was 7 pm, and We were practicing with akaashi. "Wow! Akaashi-senpai's sets are so cool!" He said with stars in his eyes. "We should get kageyama-kun here too! That would be so cool!" He said, his face starting to become a little pink thinking of kageyama. 

"Chibi-chan, you okay? You look a little pink." I say, acting clueless. He jumped a bit and covered his face. 

"I-I'm fine! I-I-"

"Are you thinking about someone?" He gave in and nodded. 

"Who?" I asked, exited.

"Bokuto-san, if he doesn't-"

"No it's okay akaashi-san. I... I was thinking of kageyama. I've tried to deny it, but I've liked him for a while. I just don't want to say anything."

"Why not?"

"I don't want him to hate me is all." 

"Let's just continue practice bokuto-san." I nodded and whispered in hinata's ear.

"In 25 minutes, head to the field. The one on top of the small hill. I'll meet you there at 7:30, and if you want, you can talk to me about it. Kay?" He nodded with a smile, and we got to practicing more. At 7:27, he left to go to the field, and akaashi decided it was time to wrap it up, since he was getting tired. I pouted, but nodded, and told him I'd catch up in a few minutes. I ran to the field, and saw suga-san watching as well. Kageyama had just shown up.

"Kageyama-kun?"

"Yeah?"

"What are you doing here?"

"I was supposed to meet with sugawara-senpai. What are you doing here?"

"I was supposed to meet with bokuto senpai, an we were going to talk about- wait nevermind. Why were you meeting with suga-senpai?" He flushed, and we could see it from our hiding spot. 

"We were going to duiscuss my cr-" He slapped a hand over his mouth mid-sentence, realizing he was about to say something along the lines of 'my crush on you'. 

"Cr? were you about to say 'crush'?" He aske as kageyama nodded slowly, removing his hand from his face. "Kageyama-kun has a crush? Tell me tell me tell me!" He repeated that bouncing up and down with a smile, until kageyama had enough, and without thinking, grabbed his shoulders, keeping him on the ground, before grabbing his face with both hands, and kissing him. I'm guessing he wanted him to shut up. I saw hinata melt into it, and wrap his arms around kageyama's neck, before they broke away. "Does that mean kageyama-kun likes me too?"

"W-wait what?" Hinata pulled him down by his neck, having not have moved his hands from before, and reconnected their lips. They broke away after a little longer this time.

"I like you kageyama-kun." The taller blushed. 

"Boke. I like you too." I couldn't help myself. I cheered, and suga tried to keep me quiet. But I was honestly too happy for them. I ran out and hugged them both before I realized what I was doing. 

"Gah! Bokuto-senpai! Did you see the entire thing?" Suga groaned from behind me. 

"Yeah! Nice work!"

"Sugawara senpai! What were you two doing?!" Kageyama yelled both angrily with embarrassment lacing his voice. 

"We both saw the way you both acted to one another. Bokuto-san had the idea to set you two up."

"Bokuto-san/senpai!" I laughed. 

"I'm sorry. I couldn't help it! You two were made for each other. I figured you two just needed a little push." 

Thats another potential rival down. Next week is spring break. 

Next week, akaashi will be mine.
