It was the beginning of after school practice when we heard a scream. We all dropped everything and ran outside, but I already have a sneaking suspicion on what's going on.
Somebody found kamori's body. When we got to the bushes, we saw that a girl from the gardening club was freaking out since, where I had dumped kamori's body, red was coming from the water. Fuck. I'm guessing animals got to her body and are eating it, so the blood is still running. Akaashi went up to her and calmed her down, jealousy building up inside of me. She was going to have to go. But I've got to be more careful.
"What's going on?" He asked, putting his hands on her shoulders. It took a few minutes, but she calmed down enough to answer.
"I'm so sorry for freaking out on you guys." She said, now calm. "I was watering the bushes and there was red, and so I panicked. I think it might just be a dead cat animals are eating."
"Yeah! I'm sure of it!" I said, knowing full well what was there. But let's not give anyone ideas. "We should burry it somewhere, hold a little funeral!" I said fake smiling, in a convincing manor. She nodded and I went to the spot the blood was at. I pulled aside the bushes and saw kamori's corpse. I screamed, but it didn't phase me. In fact, I was sort of proud of my work. I backed up, scrambling to get away, so people would think I was terrified.
"Bokuto-san, what's wrong?" What's wrong is that you still aren't mine. But you will be one day. I guarantee it.
"Th-th-theres a... a" I fake stuttered, doing my best to look like I've just had the fright of a lifetime.
"A what?"
"A BODY!" People looked at me with bewildered eyes.
"Like, a cats body or a..." He gulped "A human body."
"Thats a dead h-human there..." I said pretending to be scared out of my mind. Somebody called the cops, who showed up after a few minutes. The insinorator has already been burned for today, so all evidence of her from her hands to her face are gone. And the other girls skeleton is at the far back, and by now, black as charcoal. I'm not worried that they'll notice it, and even if they do, they won't be able to tie it to me. They were able to identify only a few things about her. One being that she's female, and the other being she goes to our school. We were all questioned, and my alibi is that I was walking to school a little later than usual because I overslept by a few minutes. When they asked how many, I said ten minutes, maybe 15, and they let me go.
Akaashi and I walked home, and he seemed on edge. "Hey you okay?"
"Not really."
"Do you wanna talk about it? I'm here to listen." He nodded and walked to a park, while I walked right behind him.
"I'm nervous. First a girl goes missing, then another turns up dead, and the cops have no leads. On top of that, I've been dealing with the feeling of being watched a lot."
"Really? How so?"
"When I'm alone, I feel like someone is watching me. I hear rustling in bushes, and shadows out of the corners of my eyes. And before you ask if I might just be paranoid, There's also been flashes. Camera flashes. Somebody's stalking me. And with all that's going on, I'm worried that I'll be next." He's shaking a lot. I should work on concealing myself better, but in the meantime, I pull him close and rub his back, taking in his sent. I never want to let go of him. I calm him down the best I can and walk him home.
Soon though, He'll be mine. I just need to do a few more things, and wait until spring break, and I can make sure he's mine forever.
But for now, I need to take care of that girl that found kamori's body.
