First date

It's been a few weeks since I confessed and gave in. Bokuto let me go, and we're at school currently at practice. "Bokuto-san." I call out as I set a ball for him, and he spiked it down happily. I smiled a little as he cheered. "Nice job." He nodded as the coach blew his whistle, signaling practice was over. Bokuto had some things to let the team know of for next week, so we all circles around him. 

"Okay guys! Nice work today. We have a training camp next week, so get the forms turned in, and get packed!" He said with a smile. We all nodded in understanding, and went to get dressed. Bokuto-san held me back for a minute though. "Wanna go on a date tomorrow?" My eyes widened and face flushed pink, but I nodded. "Great! I'll pick you up at 12." 

"O-Okay then." I got out as he let me go, and we headed to the locker room to change. 

I fiddled with the collar of my shirt waiting for bokuto to arrive. I was in a white collared shirt under a black sweater, and some blue jeans. I heard a knock at my door and got up knowing who it was, and smiled as I opened the door to see bokuto-san standing there with a volleyball tee shirt and some black jeans. "Ready to go?" 

"Yeah, one second." I said, slipping on my shoes. "Okay, yeah let's go." He grabbed my hand and we started walking to get some food at a McDonalds. "So, what are we gonna do?" I asked curious. 

"I was thinking getting some lunch, then going to see a movie. After, maybe walk through a park or something?" I giggled a little. "What?"

"It's nothing. I just didn't take you for the type to do things like that is all." He huffed a little bit faking anger, and I chuckled, before he kissed my forehead. We got our food and sat down at a table. 

"So, what movie do you want to see?" He asked before taking a bite out of his burger. I thought about it before looking up what movies were playing. 

"How about free guy? That looks like it'd be fun."

"Comedy?"

"Yeah, sure. Why not?" I say shrugging. "The trailers were pretty funny to see, so might as well."

"True." We continue eating before leaving, and heading to the theater. "Two tickets for free guy please." He asked the lady up front as I got my wallet out. He noticed and placed his hand over it. "I've got it, don't worry."

"You paid for food. No I'm paying for this."

"But it's fine. It's only like, $23 bucks."

"I don't care. I'm covering this." I say, looking into his eyes. He sighs, knowing I'm not budging on this. 

"Fine. You're so stubborn akaashi~" He purrs in my ear making me freeze and blush, while he pays. "I knew that would work. You're always so easy to fluster. Come on, let's go." He said, grabbing my hand, and I looked away, to further hide my face. I sighed and put my wallet away as he handed me my ticket. 

"Thanks." I say quietly as we go to the room the movie was playing in. Taking our seats, he wrapped an arm around me and placed a kiss on my cheek. 

"It's nothing, really." He says with a smile, and I turn my head to face him, and kiss his lips as the previews play. It doesn't last long, maybe a few seconds, but I break it as quickly as I started it, only to be pulled into another from him, this one lasting a little longer. When we broke away, we simply enjoyed each others company while the lights started to dim. 

"Okay that movie was hilarious." He says, still laughing slightly as we exit the theater. 

"Yeah, it was." I say, walking with him hand in hand to the park, walking through together in silence. I like times like these. No words needed, just each other as we sit on a bench and watch the world go by. After a while, he decided it was time to walk me home. 

"Thank you."

"Hmm? For what akaashi?"

"For today. I enjoyed it. A lot." I said, as we reached my door. He placed a kiss on my lips and smiled. 

"It's nothing. I enjoyed it too." He said to me, pulling me in for a hug, which I returned, before heading inside, and he walked away.
