"Do you have a death wish or are you just crazy?! If we help that.. that thing how do we know if it will attack us or worse kill us if we help it?!" Ben asked slightly raising his voice and furrowing his eyebrows, shock written all over his face along with the others.
"I know it's a stupid idea and you guys don't have to help." Darius said before he turned around and started walking up to River who started growling at him and her tail thrashed around.
"Hey.. Hey.. It's ok I just want to help.." He said softly and Rivers eyes and growling softened before she continued growling and glaring at him
Darius ignored River's growling and started removing small twigs and branches, soon enough he was joined the others in removing twigs and branches. After about a half an hour they were almost done removing branched, there was only one left that was holding River down and preventing her from moving around freely and getting up.
The kids started pushing on the tree as River was also pushing up against the branch and after the few tries the branch came off of her and River almost immediately got up onto her four legs and growled at the group.
"I told you this was a bad idea!" Ben said as the group started slowly backing up and River pounced, landing on Darius and she growled down at him as the group was frozen looking at the two in fear as Darius's eyes were wide as well as he started up at River, her blue eyes piercing Darius's dark brown ones.
River growled louder and she opened her mouth, before roaring into Darius's face/ear before she turned and ran off. Darius shakily stood and as his legs trembled, he almost fell until Yaz and Brooklyn caught him.
"Well That was a close call.." He mumbled before they heard the indominus roar from somewhere else in the forest causing them to be on edge before they made there way in the opposite direction of the roar.
