Eventually River decided to come out of hiding with much hesitation, the kids jumping back a bit as they saw her semi-large structure emerge from the brush. River gave the kids a goofy smile, trying to comfort them, her tail wagging a bit as she saw the kids relax a bit before Sammy started to approach River.
"What are you doing!?" Ben asked, as he grabbed Sammy's arm, stopping her in her tracks, "We don't know if we can trust it yet!" Ben exclaimed making River pout.
"Awe come on Ben! Just look at them!" Sammy said with a smile, making River perk up again, her tail wagging harder as Sammy got closer to River, soon reaching her hand out towards the big scaly lizard.
River leaned forwards before nudging Sammy's hand ontop on River's head making Sammy smile harder and laugh as she started petting River.
"Look at you! You're just a big scaly puppy!" Sammy said sweetly
