The kids ran in the direction that River ran, Yes it was very risky, but it would probably be safer than coming face to face with the Indominus Rex.
River stopped by a stream to get a drink until she heard movement behind her. She whipped her head around to see where the noise came from, but when she didn't see anything she huffed through her nose and jumped across the small stream before continuing through the forest.
The kids who were hiding behind some trees let out a sigh of relief before they went to find away to get across the stream. Eventually they found a large log that went across the stream so they crossed that.

River was crouched down in some tall grass stalking a herd of Gallimimus. Once she was only a few feet away she pounced, landing on one of the Gallimimus causing the galli to land on it's side.
Once it was on the ground River pinned it down, one of her front paws(Idk what to call them) on the galli's neck before she opened her jaws and snapped her teeth down on the Gallimimus neck before quickly tilting and moving her head, snapping her prey's neck quickly killing in before she started eating.
She quickly snapped her head around though when she heard some screams. She quickly started running towards the sound, Curious on who it was.
Once she made it she saw that the Indominus had cornered the kids. She hesitated, thinking about what she should do.
