.chapter-6 her life.
Zoya's pov.Looking out of the small window of my room at three in the morning, makes everything seems different, the same neighborhood feels different. I can hear the silence. Sometimes I just want to shut down everything, every emotions, every feeling and every expectations. I don't see the reason of my existence. As much as I want to find the reason to live, life always throws me to the edge. Every time I put the pieces back together someone breaks it again. That someone or something can be my hopes or my expectations. Hope, that one day my father wouldn't see me as a villian of his life, or the xpectations of getting something out of this life.
When I was small I had everything planned out. I wanted to do so many things, I wanted to achieve so many things and now I'm just a girl without any plan or future.
I grew up mentally strong. I grieve, I cry, I break but I still pull myself together because of that tiny little hope somewhere in the corner that I'll be happy one day.
Loosing my mother, loosing my relationship or bond with my father that never existed, loosing my grandma, loosing the friends I had when I was in school. After loosing everything I don't have anything to loose anymore.
Sometimes I feel like disappearing into the thin air, but my mother's face flashes in front of my eyes. She gave up her life for me, I owe it to her.
I felt a tear trickling down my cheek. I wiped it off but tears kept trickling down my cheeks, more I wiped them off more they fell, so I let my tears fall freely.
My father's slap doesn't hurt as much as his words does. Nothing hurts more than the feeling of been an orphan when one of your parent is still alive.
I dragged myself to the bed to get some sleep as I was up for way too long keeping in mind I have to get up for the work within 4 hours.

"So how did it went yesterday?" Yash asked as they walked to the cafeteria.
"What?" Zoya asked in confusion.
"The designs? Were you able to redo all of them?" Yash asked.
"Yes, thanks to you and sam.. I would've never been able to do it on my own.." Zoya said.
"My pleasure.." He said with a charming smile.
They reached the counter.
"Two coffee please." Yash said to the lady.
"No I will have coke.." Zoya said to lady, she nodded her head and gave zoya a chilled can of coke and a straw.
"Thank you." Zoya said after taking it from her.
"Coke at this hour? Rough night?" Yash asked after collecting his coffee.
"Kind of." Zoya said. She already had a cup of coffee before.
