Author's pov.

They reached a lavish five star restaurant.  Zoya was a little apprehensive because she is not that fancy.

Aditya opened the door for her and she stepped out after saying a small thank you.

She saw two bulky men in black clothes following behind them. She looked back at them.

"They are for security." She heard aditya's voice near her ear.

That was close.

Zoya said in her head as she felt his breath on her neck.

"Uhh.. Isn't it creepy." She said, looking back at two emotionless men walking behind them.

"Not creepy when they have to protect you from getting killed." Aditya said with a sarcastic smile.

Dark.

Zoya thought and shook her head. They walked together towards the entrance. A waiter came by and slightly bowed his head. He took them both to a table with a wonderful view outside. No one else was around except the two men on the gate with their backs facing them.

"So when are you going to tell me about siddharth?" Zoya asked.

"He doesn't worth the tasty food here so lets order first." He said with cocky smile.

Now zoya being the confused person she is, she couldn't choose between the food items listed there on the menu.

Aditya called the waiter and placed his order.

"Make it two please. Just add one soft drink instead of wine, thank you." Zoya said to the waiter with a smile. He smiled back and took the menu from them before walking out.

"So.." Zoya said as the waiter was out of sight.

"Yeah, so.." Aditya shifted his attention to her and said "Now you know that siddharth is my half brother. It wasn't that bad when we got to know about it, we all were old enough to understand but  he was surely hurt. He was the one who took it hard, of course, because whom he called uncle since childhood is now his biological  father." Aditya explained.

"Why not keep it the way it was? I mean nothing good came out of it anyway." Zoya said. She believes that a lie is good if it brings peace to someone's soul. But then again everyone deserves to know the truth about their existence.

"Till how long? One day or other he would have got to know about it so my father thought it should be sooner than later." Aditya said. "And his birth mother whom I used to call my aunt was dead by the time we got to know so he was practically living with us at the moment. But then he wasn't in any mood to stay near my father's eyesight so he left. I was so disgusted by my father so I couldn't think what must be going through his mind."  Aditya said.

"Why does he acts like this? Was he always like that." Zoya asked.

Before aditya could speak anything the waiters came in with their food. They kept it all on the table and left. Aditya waited until they were out of sight.

"To answer your question, no he wasn't like that always. We actually shared a really great bond when we didn't knew about all of this. But then the relations went downhill once and for all." Aditya said.

"Don't say once and for all, it's not like you would never mend your relation with him." Zoya said and took a sip from her drink.

"How can you be so sure?"  He asked.
