Chapter 4 : Bang!

Amity and I just got off the phone saying she wants to say here to sleep I was very concerned about why she wanted to sleep at my house until I heard a knock at my door I quickly ran downstairs and opened the door.

"Hey ams!"  I stared at her and saw that her eyes were puffy I frowned "Ams?!" I quickly pulled her into the house and hugged her and she started to sob on my chest while I stood there and hugged her.

"Amity, what happen?!" I said in shock trying to keep my voice down since my parents were sleeping I didn't wanna wake them up, "my mom slapped me and told me to go to my room when I told her I wanted to break up with zander" she sobbed as I stroked her hair,"hey it's gonna be okay why don't we just go upstairs to my room let's get your mind off this" she nodded and I grabbed her hand pulling her upstairs

As we walked upstairs and into my room I closed the door silently and sat with amity on my bed, "what exactly happened?" I asked her in a soft tone, "well I did what you told me too do and after she just slapped me and told me to go to my room and I got upset so I asked if I could stay with you and-" I cut her off by pulling her into a hug "you don't have to say anything else it's okay I'm here for you.." I said softly whispering to her.

Amity then fell asleep in my arms and I smiled and looked through the window but after 20 minutes I heard a loud knock coming from downstairs so I laid amity down on the bed and put a blanket over her as I dashed downstairs. "Coming!" I said so the person outside can hear me

I opened the door just too see Zander at the door step with a gun, "what the fuck are you doing here?" I said gritting my teeth as I saw the gun in his pocket," oh you know Mrs blight told me to stop by" I quickly slammed the door closing the blinds and locking the door. "Shit" I said under my breath I grabbed my bat that was in the corner and checked the window I opened the door ran out and slammed Zander in the head with it

"OWWWW!" He yelped as I tried to grab the gun from his pocket "FUCK OFF AND GO AWAY" I said trying to grab the gun but then heard a loud bang and noticed he shot my arm I hit him with my other arm grabbing the gun from his hand as I gritted my teeth I held the gun up to his face "you got five seconds to leave or I'll shoot." I said trying to not show pain in my voice he tried to kill amity blight.

I saw him run off hoping he doesn't come back I came back in to see amity walking down the steps "what's that nois-" she got cut off when she saw my bloody arm, "LUZ!" She said yelping and dragged me to the couch, "WHO DID THIS?" She said anger clear in her voice her voice was cracking and I couldn't help but to let tears fall off my face "Zander."

Her eyes widen, "he was coming over with a gun he said Mrs blight told him to come here" I said as my voice started to crack, "where's the first aid kit?" her voice was shaky and her hands were trembling, "in the cabinet near the kitchen.." She walked to the kitchen and into the cabinet and grabbed the first aid once she did she grabbed my arm as I grunted "you are so stupid for doing that you should of just came back in the house!" Her shaky voice was enough to break someone, "I'm sorry I was just trying to protect you" I lowered my head seeing her clean up the blood.

"Yet you got hurt doing that and where are we" she sighed wrapping taking the bullet out my arm I saw my two mothers rushing down stairs, "is everything okay l-" she saw us on the couch with my arm full of blood "Qué pasó?!" My mother rushed near us and since she was a nurse she told amity she can handle it and she went to the bathroom to clean off the blood she had on her hand, "Estaba tratando de proteger a su mamá pero su ex me disparó en el brazo.." I said with gilt in my voice I saw Eda who was confused and shocked at my arm but she didn't know what we were saying so I translated it for her

"Mom I got shot in the arm by amity's ex who got sent over here to shoot her." Eda nodded, grunting as my mom was taking out the bullets and bandaging it "at least it's not infected" she said, I sighed as amity came back with guilt all over her face.

"I'm sorry this is my fault I shouldn't have came over" I heard guilt in her voice "no it's not your fault it's your moms fault she was the one who sent that stupid bitch here" my mom heard me curse hit didn't yell at me cause I had every right to be mad.

"We will be upstairs if you need us but for now amity please just take care of this stubborn girl" she chuckled trying to calm the atmosphere, amity nodded as they walked back upstairs, she sat next to me turning on the tv, "don't do that again, that was risky and dangerous what if you got shot in the chest!" She said turning to me I cupped her face, "I won't and don't worry about it I'm alive arent I?" I wiped the tears that were about to fall off her cheek.

"I love you, but sometimes you do stupid shit" she said rolling her eyes playfully, we both stared at each other and I could feel blush rising against my cheek, "oh uh I'm gonna go um grab my p-" I grabbed her arm before she left bringing her back down and I kissed her it was all so fast to process but I pulled away, "s-sorry I just um" amity smiled and kissed my cheek, "oh um also if you want you can maybe just stay here with me so you don't go back to your moms and uh maybe tomorrow we can go on a d- I MEAN HANG OUT" I said nervously rubbing the back of my head

"Ya sure I don't mind just ask your parents first okay?" She said smiling I smiled back looking at the tv as amity laid on the arm that didn't get shot so I wouldn't get hurt but I started thinking, maybe there's a chance she might like me back I smiled at the thought and returned my attention to the movie.
