Chapter 8 : the demon realm

Luz P.O.V
I woke up rubbing my eyes and looked over to see amity sleeping next to me I quickly got off the bed stretching "ngh my back hurts"

Mumbling I brushed my teeth combed my hair and grabbed a cup of coffee just to turn around and see amity wide awake

"Morning early bird" amity said walking towards me and putting her head on my shoulder groaning as I drank some coffee "morning ami I'm gonna go out for a little while" I smiled as her head went off my shoulder and stared at me

"To do what?" She responded with a confused look

"Oh uh I'm gonna buy us some food" I was half lying but I couldn't tell her what I was gonna do or she would want to go no matter what

"Oh alright text me when you get back babe" she kissed my cheek grabbed the coffee out my hand causing me to roll my eyes playfully as she went upstairs

I grabbed my green jacket and beanie as I walked to the closet and grabbed my bat I went outside and walked into the woods the reason I was here is because there is supposed to be some type of magical dust here that I discovered a while a back a robot named X I walked into the house into the old mansion and opened it

"Boss!" The robot chirped rolling over to me with what I could assume a smile on his square head

"hello X we have to get to work I don't know what's going on but something bad is gonna happen and I don't know what" I sighed knowing I thought I destroyed this a year ago but to further explain

-flash back when she was 14-

I ran as fast as I can from the slender body that walked towards me I quickly grabbed my bat putting glyphs on it and slamming it into the slender body slashing blood splattering everywhere and the door to the demon realm opened I gulped (in this story the demon realm is a bad realm and Luz is the only one with powers)

I shivered remembering what I found x quickly showed me data of everything turns out there's something called the demon realm where there a powerful master mind named belos controls that world trying to invade the human realm he still searches for a way here

I quickly grabbed my bat knowing where the demon realm was and left the mansion leaving X I grabbed a
Potion out of my pocket quickly jumped onto the tree climbing on top and there it was the portal to the demon realm.

I saw what seamed to be a huge bat queen she through me off the tree catching me off guard I groaned in pain "GAH!" I said as I fell off the huge tree my back in pain as I tried to get up until I felt a claw on my chest going through my skin I kicked it off me getting up and grabbing my bat and slapping glyphs on the bat flapped it's wings full force towards me I through the potion causing dust to appear the bat not knowing where I went I ran behind it punching it and throwing a glyph on and hitting it with my bat

The bat screeched as I slammed it down and kicked it back into the demon realm and the door shut I felt blood through my clothes I still was clueless on why they would want to invade it but here in and out I knew, that there will be more then just one of them

I quickly ran back to the mansion X rolled over here grabbing some bandages to cover the wounds up "this should do for now and you better hurry before amity gets suspicious one day she will find out" I sighed nodding I knew X was right I might have to tell amity even if she doesn't believe me I grabbed the food X cooked for us and smiled

"Thanks X and don't worry I got this under control I promise" I pat his head and put him to charge and left the mansion and the woods and quickly ran back home

I have been doing this ever since I was 14 and no one found out yet other then Gus and Willow the reason I keep this a secret is because it's very dangerous the demon realm contains a lot of things that people should be aware of but I can't tell anyone atleast for now

I went inside tip toeing until I heard amity call me from behind "Luz where have you been it's been about 3 hours" she tilted her head in confusion but saw the food in my hand which I placed on the table

"And why is there blood on your hands and a bat?" My eyes widened I forgot to give these to X!

"Um well you see" I rubbed the back of my neck dropping my bat "i was doing a experiment and the-" I got cut off by a pinch by the side of my waist

"Awwww! That hurt ami" I groaned in annoyance "Luz tell me the truth what weere you doing" i knew I couldn't get out of this one I had to tell her I had to tell amity..

"Okay blight  you might wanna sit down for this" I stared at her as she sat on the couch and I stood in front of her

"The truth is"

"I found another dimension that goes by the name of the demon realm there's creatures and things leaking into this world one by one and it can increase and make more portals but it's not doing that for now hopefully I found the portal when I was 14 and I got stuck there for 3 months until I found a way back and here in out I kept it a secret I fought the monsters that kept leaking in one by one but they will continue to leak into the world ami.."

"Amity the truth is they are trying to take over the world and if I never attacked those demons who knew what the world would have been right now could have already been 3 demons here." I responded looking away from amity's eyes that seemed to widen she looked terrified and scared

"But on the bright side I had a smart robot yes I built it by myself his name is X lives all the way out in the forest in this mansion he built for us two until I had to come home because of my "fake summer camp" thing I was supposed too attend you might think this is not real or it's fake but I swea-" I got cut off by amity hugging

"Hey it's okay I believe you and maybe I can help you out?" I looked into her golden liked eyes and looked down

"I don't know ami it's very dangerous not to mention" I showed her some glyph drawings "you will need these to defeat them it's a little like magic I guess" I stood up from her embrace to show her

I placed the light glyph on my hand and tapped it a little bulb of light popped out of the paper turning into light "there's more then that but I would have to teach you" I looked over at her she looked shocked

"Alright noceda then teach me"

"Teach me so that I can help defeat the demon realm with you.."
