MY THREE VAMPIRE BITES

BREAKING THROUGH REIJI

My schedule have really changed as Nina said. I have been eating at different times, not going to school, sleeping a lot. I also chat with Nina a lot. She tells me things about sierra and the Heinz family. I have been getting flashbacks from her memories. Last night, i got a dream where reiji's mother was giving me something. She must have given it to sierra before she died. And that witch probably never gave it to reiji . I knew where she hid it, so i took it out from the old drawer. I had to give it to reiji whenever i find him .

Reiji's pov

That sierra's heart is in her that's why she has to suffer . I dont know why but i feel bad for her. Bad things happen wherever that sierra is . I wanted to check on rize but i never got to see her after that day. She doesn't really come out of her room.

Rize's pov

Few days have passed. I was sitting in my room getting bored. I don't have anything to do but i feel safe here . I deceided to watch some photographs that i keep with me. I was going through them when reiji knocked on the door and came in .  ' hey , what are you doing',he said as he sat next to me. He was relaxed so i did not feel any danger .'nothing much, i was just going through some photos'i said as i waved the photos in my hand .

'oh.. , anyways , are you okay ',he looked at me with genuine concern. 'Hmm, not so okay but yeahhh ..'i said while my eyes teared up after seeing the photo of me with my father . How could he turn this way ? Was i burden to him all along ? He noticed that i was about to cry so he looked at the photo . 'is that your father?' , he asked . I simply nodded as i could feel more tears welling up in my eyes. 'you should not cry over a man who abandoned you . He stated looking at me and taking the photo from my hand. 'hmm', i said as i tried to calm myself down and looked at him . 'i am angry at him, you know, even at my biological parents, even they abandoned me because i had a bad heart, wasn't it harsh of them to leave me on my own?' i was letting it out as i cried in front of him .'yes,it was ', he agreed as he comforted me,'i can understand you rize, even i had this feeling when i was little'. 'But u know, i am not weak, i am not going to loathe them forever , my life is too short for that , remembering people from the past that gave you bad memories is only going to hurt the people that love me at present, although there are not many for now', i said as i smiled and rubbed off my tears away . He was taken aback by my words as if he was contemplating his own life. 'right ?', i asked as i smiled to him and took my photos from his hand. 'ye -yes ,right ', he said while having a sly smile.

I stood up andput the photos in my bag and took out the neckpiece of his mother . 'i had a weird dream that night and i know you won't believe me , but i saw your mother reiji', i said as i sat next to him . He was shocked by hearing those words and looked at me with confusion . 'I m sorry if i cross the line, but she asked me to give this to you',i said as i wrapped the neckchain around his hand like a bracelet . 'you are lying , right ' , his eyes were now focused on the chain , seeming from his look, he definitely recognized it . He was silent for some time but when he raised his head , i could see tears in his eyes. 'she asked me to say goodbye to u on her behalf, and she said that she loves you And was sorry that she could not speak these to you herself. 'i said to him . His face now looked angry but still relieved .

'go away',he said in a shrill voice as he put his head down . 'good night then , reiji ' , i knew that he wanted to be alone. I should up and went to the gate. But midway, i felt his hands wrapping me from the back and his head on my shoulder. I was scared but he did not move for a minute. I realized that he did not want to be alone. I held his hands that were at my waist and moved to face him . I could see his dark eyes filled with tears . Poor boy missed his mother . 'stay , please ', he said while looking directly into my eyes . But it was not compelling . It was him sincerely asking me to be there with him . I nodded and he immediately pulled me in for a  hug . We stayed like that for some minutes . I never expected him to be so...vulnerable .

I took my medicines and i soon went to sleep and let him stay there . He was on the other side of the bed, of course.

Reiji's pov .
I stared at the chain with a ring shaped pendant in my hand . My mother's death was too soon for me . I m happy that i get to have something that belonged to her . I turned around to see rize sleeping peacefully. How much have happend to her but she still did not complain for once . She is beautiful this way and she feels warm. I remove a strand of her hair coming on her face . I can stare at her for the whole night . She comforted me even after what i did to her . She's truly beautiful
