Just as the woman fell to the floor, now unconscious Melian snapped out of it.

She was just caught by one of the guards, which was now laying on the floor. Just before that she tried to shoot them, which means she pulled the trigger.

The bullet flew,

But didn't hit her.

Which also means the sound of a gunshot went off. Did anybody hear it?

There were other guards around the facility, which had almost caught them. ''What was that loud thud?'' One of them asked that. ''Was that a gunshot?'' The other one asked. ''Pfft.'' You could hear somebody say, but it didn't come from the directions of where the guards were. It came from behind them. ''What do you think you're doing?'' Melian could hear somebody say, standing right behind them. ''Melian, turn around right now.'' A female voice said.

Who could it be?

Melian slowly turned her head around, keeping her guard up for what might come soon. Just as she turned around, she saw it was two people.

Iris & Isiah.

''Did you just knock out one of the guards?'' Isiah asked, with a slightly shocked but impressed look on his face. Iris's expression on the other hand was disappointed & also a bit mad. As Melian realized it was them, her eyes stopped glowing & Fayre disappeared, leaving just the three of them on the roof, along with the unconscious woman lying on the ground.

''Why are you outside in the first place?'' She asked Melian. Now, Melian was too scared to say anything;

She was scared of their reaction, once she would tell them that Fayre suggested following them, which brought them up to this moment here.

''Well- uh...'' Melian stuttered. She was unsure how to answer Iris. Isiah on the other hand just looked down to the guard.

''I- kind of wanted to see the outside.'' She answered.

''You're lying.'' Iris said.

''No, very much I am not.'' Melian said & pulled her mask down, now showing a big flashy grin at the both, making Iris sink her head onto her hand. ''Were you trying to find any of the exits here?'' Isiah asked suddenly. ''How did you know?'' Melian replied quickly, even though that wasn't the reason she decided to sneak out through the back.

Just then, something hit her.

''Isiah- You said any of the exits!'' She said, causing Isiah to widen his eyes & quickly throw his hands up to his own defense. ''You just said it!'' Melian replied, her expression now turning into a genuine smile.

''You idiot.'' Iris bickered & punched his arm with her elbow. ''You still didn't answer why you had to knock the guard down.'' She stated, lifting her head up just before crossing her arms over her chest & looking straight into Melian's eyes.

''Self-defense.'' She said and looked down at the woman, before pointing towards the gun that was still at the same place from before, where the woman dropped it after she flew back. ''Also, she shot me. I can't let the bullet hit me?'' Melian looked back at Iris.

Isiah again didn't have much of a reaction, except he walked towards the gun, slowly picking it up with his hands & standing on his feet, inspecting the gun. Just then he opened the gun magazine, looking at the bullets that were stuck inside of it.
