Chapter 16: I Didnt Want Him To Know

Victoria POV

"Okay so Steve kissed you, you punched him and you told him to never do that again." Ammie said.

We were sitting on the fire escape because it was too hot in the house.

"Yeah that's what happened. I didn't want anyone else to know about this."

"Well I found out. So how did this happen?"

"I don't know. I think it may have started when me and him first hanged out."

I thought back to when Steve and I were at The Coffee Shop. When me and Jasper kissed I remeber Steve looking away he seemed to have not liked that.

"Yeah, because when me and Jasper kissed he looked away." I said.

"When Steve kissed you did you feel something?"

"What? No." My voice got a little higher.

Ammie knows when my voice gets a little higher I'm lying and I would look away. I looked back and she was stairing at me with a serious face.

"Maybe I had a little feeling."

"Victoria!"

"Its only a little feeling. Its nothing."

"Well sometimes a nothing can become a something. Are you gonna tell Jasper? Don't you think he desveres to know?"

"He does but I don't want him involded."

The doorbell rang.

"I got it." I said.

I got up and went to get the door I looked through the eye hole and saw it was another guy with roses. I opened the door, took the roses and closed it. I looked at the card and it said from Steve. This is the third set of roses he has sent to me.

"Who was it?" Ammie said coming in.

"Just another flower guy. From Steve."

I went to the garbage and threw the roses out.

"Are you sure the feelings that you have Steve are nothing?"

I nodded my head.

A few minutes later the phone rang Ammie got the phone. A few seconds later Ammie came in the kitchen trying to hand me the phone.

"Ammie you see I'm making dinner."

"Its Jasper." She said smiling.

Jaspers POV

"Did she pick up?"Rafel asked.

"No Ammie did, she gonna give the phone to her."

A few seconds later Victorias voice was on.

"Umm, hi." She said.

"Hey what's up?"

"Nothing just making dinner."

"Whats she doing?" Rafel asked.

"Making dinner." I answered quickly.

"Ask if we can come over." Rafel said.

"Can we come over? We were gonna out but since your making dinner..."

"Umm I don't know."

"What she say?" Rafel asked.

"She doesn't know." I said quickly. "Nothing is gonna happen. I promise."
