Chapter 5: A Kiss

Victoria POV

A day later...  

"Here you go Ralph." I said while handing Ralph his bowl of dog food. Ralph was a big dog so he ate a lot. Before I could put the bowl on the floor he began digging in there causing me to drop the bowl. I smiled and rubbed his head.  

"Good boy. Good boy."  

I went to check on the other animals to see if they were okay. Most of them were sleeping and rest seemed fine so I thought should probably take my lunch break. Before I could Casey the other girl that worked here told me that a guy wanted to adopt two dogs and they were at the main desk waiting. She told me they asked for me. I went to the main desk and the guy. I had to ask him some questions about if ge ever had any pets, if the per would be safe in his household etc. I showed him the dogs and he picked out a pitbull and a German sheperd. He signed them out and told him that I will be checking in on the dogs in four weeks and gave him some papers for the dogs. He then reached into his coat pocket, took an evnalope and handed it to me. I took it, he left and said  

"Thank you."  I said while he was leaving.  

I was worried about what was in the envalope. Maybe it was a bomb and as soon as I opened it BOOM! Or maybe it was small prank someone was doing like that guy. Or maybe it's from Jasper... It was blank, no name, no adress just blank. I finally opened it and a ticket popped out. Along with a note. I picked up the ticket and card off the floor and put the ticket on the desk. I opened the card and it said  

'I was thinking that maybe we could go to Six Flags. I could win you a teddy bear! I'll pick you up at 4 o' clock. See you soon! :)' ~ Jasper  

I grabbed the ticket out of excitement and read it. I was so happy I hadn't been to Six Flags in a while and I wanted to try that new ride Brazzo. It seemed fun. Luckily my shift ended at three which gave me enough time to shower and change. I would keep on what I'm wearing but I smelled like a wet dog. Time was flying by. Many people were coming in and adopting animals. I only had one question on my mind.  

'How the hell did he find out  the adress to this place?And how did he know I worked in this shelter?'  

I finally came out smelling like dog pee so I jumped into my car and dashed off home. Luckily Ammoe and Claire weren't here or they would of been bugging me. I took a quick shower, dark blue shorts, converse and my pink shirt that said GIRLS RULE! with Batwoman on the left, Spiderwoman on the right, and Wonderwoman in the middle. I sprayed a little Vinalla Lace perfume on me, some lip gloss, and black eyeliner. I looked at myself in the mirror I was looking goood. The time was 3:55. He should be here soon. I gave myself a second look to make sure I looked perfect when I heard his car horn. I grabbed my short coat, my phone and keys and went out the door. I locked it and got into Jaspers car.  

"Hey." he said.  

"Hey." I said  

"Nice shirt." he said pointing to my shirt.  

"Thank you." I said.  

He started up the car and we drove off. The sun was setting when we got to Six Flags. We were going on rides and playing games just having fun. We were playing Water Power. A guy then came and sat next to me. I looked at him and looked at me smiling licking his lips.  

Disgusting.  

I turned my head back to Jasper. The man in charge of the game told us to get ready, get set and go. We started spraying our water onto our targets. My ballon was getting bigger and bigger when it popped. The guy handed me a Panda saying Winner. I took it from him and said thank you. The guy from behind me got up and said.  

"Congrats honey. You wanna come with me?" He was reaching for my hand. I swipped it back.  

"No thank."  

"Aww come on baby. I saw the way you were looking at me. Admit you want me."  

He started leaning closer to me.  

"Back away from me." I pushed him a bit. That's when Jasper got up.  

"Hey she said back up." I could hear the anger in his voice.  

"And what are you gonna do?"  

"Want me to show you?"  

Jasper came closer. I stood up in between them.  

"Lets just go okay? You don't have to deal with him. Let's just have a good time okay?" I said.  

He nodded and began backing up.  

"I better not see you again." I said to the guy.  

He chuckled. We then went walking in the opposite direction.  

"Thank you. For doing that."  

"Your welcome. I'm not gonna let some guy come on to you like that. I'll protect you."  

He pulled me into a hug as we were walking towards the beach. It was dark but the stars were lighting the sky up so beautifuly. We were laying on our backs on the sand while looking at the stars.  

"Thats my star." I said pointing  

"Thats my star on Orains Belt."  

"I can see The Dipper. I think that's what it's called."  

"Ohh I see it. It's right there." He said pointing.  

"How did you find out where I workd? I didn't even tell you the adress."  

"I have my ways."  

"Oh." I smiled.  

"You know the guy send was kinda creepy."  

"Im sorry. He wasn't creepy went I talked to him."  

"He kinda was and thanks for doing that. It was really sweet."  

I moved closer to him and was hugging his arm.  

We then saw fireworks being fired into the sky in many different colors red, blue, green.  

"They are so beautiful." I said.  

"Just like you."  

I turned to look at him. Stairing deep into my eyes as I was doing the same. It was like the first time when we made eye contact when we couldn't move our eyes off eachother. I moved in closer and closer intill our lips touched. I was kissing him and he was kissing back. My tongue in his mouth and his in mine. We stayed there kissing while the fireworks were blowing up in the sky.
