Chapter 12: The Old Spark

Victoria's POV

I was siting on the frontsteps, listening to my iPod as I was waiting for Jasper. He usually doesn't take this long, I looked at my watch 6:30. He was supposed to be here 10 minutes ago.

About 5 minutes later I see Jasper's car coming. He stopped in front of the curb. I'd put my iPod away and walked to the car smiling as he was smiling back at me. I saw Steve's face pop up

So Steve's coming, no prob.

Then her face popped up like from the shadows.

Sam.

She looked at me smiling and waving her hand. In my mind I wanted to say

"YOU'RE LETTING THIS TWO-FACED WHORE COME?!"

At the Mini Golf Park...

Steve and Jasper was paying for us all we were playing two games. While they were at the counter paying me and Sam were picking out our balls and golf clubs.

"So how did you get him to invite you?" I asked her in a hushed tone.

"What do you mean?" She said trying to acted surprised by my question. "He just asked me out of nowhere. You should really stop worring."

"I'll stop worring when you leave."

"Now, you know that I'm not leaving intil I have Jasper but if you just give him up to me now then I won't ruin your relationship." She smiled at me.

"And you know that if you try anything I'll kick your ass." I smiled back, holding up my golf club.

"Well let's see what happens?"

She's really pushing my limits.

She turned and walked to the counter. I walked behind her a few seconds later. She was standing next to Jasper and was talking to him, then she put her hand on his shoulder while laughing. So what do I do? I fast walk to get in between then kissed Jasper. At first he was shocked but he then wrapped his arms around me next thing you know we were having a full make out session.

From behind me I hear Sam walking away which means I probably pissed her off. Good.

"Man, I suck at golf." I said.

I missed the hole about three times already and I was getting ready to give up. In the score Steve was first, Jasper second, Sam third, and me dead last. Everybody was either getting a birdie or a hole and one I was getting pars and zeros.

We moved on to hole 7 now and everybody was waiting for me now. I hit the ball straight so that it would get onto the hole but the freaking jumped over the hole. I was gonna quit intill Steve came to try and help me out.

"Victoria all you need to do is relax and clear your head."

He went behind me, I could feel his chest on my back and then put his hands where my hands were on the golf club.

"Like I said before all you need to do is relax, take a deep breath then let it out."

I did what he said.

"Now imagine that the ball is the face of someone that you hate.

Sam

"and the hole is a tunnel that you can send the person away."

"Ok."

"Now move your club back slowly and hit it enough so that person can go to jail."

He let go and backed up a bit, I did excatly what he said and the ball went into the hole.

"Yay! I got it thanks Steve!"

He smiled "No prob."

I turned to my left and saw Jasper and Sam together. I'm starting to wonder about Jasper. Is there something happening between them? Is their old feelings for eachother coming back? This is my fault. Me making him bring her back is making this old spark come back.

Sam turned in my direction when Jasper was looking somewhere else and mouthed the words: Mine

That's it! I threw my golf club on the floor and walked pasted Steve who looked at funny and the relized what was about to happen intill it was too late. I walked over to them and without looking at Jasper I slapped Sam really really really fucking hard. I could see the mark on her left cheek that was delivered from my hand to her fat fucking face.

Sam was clutching her face, then Steve came and grabbed me from behind, Jasper was checking on Sam.

"He's not yours! Stop trying to take him away you fucking slut!" I was yelling, I was furious and pissed off.

"Victoria calm down she's not trying anything!" Jasper said

"Bullshit! I see the way you look at her! (pointing to Sam who was looking at me) Not once have you taken your eyes off of her since we've got here! Admit it your still in love with her!"

He looked at me confused.

"Victoria you know that I love you. Besides you was the one who wanted me to let Sam come into my house."

"Because she needed somewhere to stay and you promised me nothing was gonna happen!"

"Nothing has happened! How many times do I have to say it?"

"Intil it is the truth."

Sam then stepped up.

"Victoria nothing has happened." I saw a wink.

I was trying to get out of Steve's grip but he had one hell of a grip.

"Victoria calm down. Calm down."

He had to stay it over and over a few times inti I actually calmed down.

"I'm gonna take Victoria home. I should be home soon. You guys just take a cab or something. Come."

I looked at Sam who had a little grin and Jasper who seemed confused.

Me and Steve walked to the car and he drove me home. We were at the buliding when he stopped the car. He turned off the radio and we sat there for a bit. Then I said,

"Thabk you for driving me home and sorry you had to see what happened." I put my hair behind my ear.

"No need to apologize. It's not your fault."

"Thanks, I just wished you didn't hold me back."

He laughed "Me either but if I let you go you was probably going to kill Sam."

I laughed a bit.

"Yeah, maybe."

"So what's gonna happen with you and Jasper now?"

I shook my head. "I don't know."

I opened the car door and was getting out Steve caught my hand and I sat back down.

"Yeah?"

"If you ever need me for anything I'm here."

I smiled. "Thanks, your a good friend."

I gave him a hug and then left the car.

I like how Steve was trying to be a good friend and help me. There's something that I sense about him I don't really know what. I don't know what's gonna happen with me and Jasper right now we are taking like a little break.
