Chapter 5 {Hurtful Surprises}

~Lucy~

I guess I might have moved a whole lot while we where sleeping because I woke up with my hand tangled in Natsu's scarf

"OH MY GOD" I screamed "I am so sorry!" I screamed after

"What wh- oh that's ok" he said looking down at his scarf

He took my hand and untangled it

"Looks like the powers back on" Natsu said looking around

"It's 8:30 we should go to the guild" I said sitting up

"Yeah ok" he said getting up

"Let me get dressed first" I said getting up as well

"But the skirt your wearing is fine" he said smiling

"Ah no I slept in this" I said walking to my closet

"Ok ok but what ever you wear you'll still look beautiful" I heard him say even though he said it in a low whisper

Did he really say I was beautiful?

"Can you like hide somewhere or go outside please?" I asked turning to Natsu

"Why?" He asked

"So I can get dressed" I said sounding irritated

"Well do you have a bra on?" he asked

"EXCUSE ME EVEN IF I DO I WOULDN'T GET DRESSED IN FRONT OF YOU!" I screamed

"Ok ok fine but why don't you get dressed in the bathroom?" He asked smirking

"Because I don't like getting dressed in the bathroom. Just get out for a minute!" I said calming down

"Ok fine I'll be outside" he said walking to the door

~five minutes later~

"Ok you can come back in!" I yelled

"Ok come on let's g- holy crap" Natsu says looking at me

"What?" I asked confused

"No nothin it's just that you look great" he said

"I wear this all the time" I said giggling

"I know it's just I don't know" he said smiling

"Well come on let's go" I said grabbing his hand and pulling him out the door

When we got to the guild everyone's eyes were on us

"What are they staring at?" I whispered to Natsu

"I don't know" he whispered back

Erza, Grey, Levy, and Happy all came up to us with confused looks

"Where were you guys?" Grey asked

"Grey your clothes" Levy mumbled

"AHAHGH" He shouted

"Yeah where were you?" Asked Happy

"Well I was hanging out with Lucy at her house and I had to stay cause of the storm" Natsu said

"Oh did you guys do anything?" Erza asked eying us

"WHAT WHY WOULD YOU ASK THAT?!" Both me and Natsu questioned

"Yeah they like each other" Erza said turning back to the counter

I could feel my face turning red and in the corner of my eye I could see Natsu's face turning red

"Well I'm gonna look at the job requests" I said walking to the request board

On my way to the request board I could hear Wakaba talking to Bisca and Alzack

"I heard Natsu gots a new girlfriend" Wakaba laughed

"No he wouldn't he likes Lucy to much" snapped Bisca

Girlfriend?

As I was looking at the requests I saw this perfect one that I could do on my own

Best part is it doesn't just come with 1,000 jewels but comes with one gate key

I took the flyer and walked up to Mira

"Hey Mira I would like to take this job" I smiled

"Of course you must have seen the reward" she giggled

"Yeah" I giggle back

"Is Natsu going with you?" She asked

"No I'm doing it by myself" I said

"Really? ok good luck" she said

As I walked to the door Natsu was in the middle of a crowd of people I joined the crowd to see what was happening

"Is that your girlfriend?!"Cana asked looking confused

"Actually n-" Natsu said but was cut of

"Well not yet" the girl said

She was a very skinny looking girl with long brown hair and she had the same size breasts as me

Who is she? I've never seen her in my life

Instead of asking questions I decided to leave

But there was a question that made me stop

"Would you ever date her?" The person asked

"Yeah I would" Natsu said not hesitating

But the last question shot me like a bullet

"Can you kiss her?" The person asked

I turned around to see Natsu's lips pressed against the girls lips

I couldn't help but tear up

A tear streamed down my face

To avoid people seeing me I left
