Chapter 14 {Loyalty}

~Lucy~

I was still in the guild with Gray, Levy, and Gajeel when Natsu sent me a text

"I don't understand" I said

"What does he mean?" Gray asked

"I dont know. He won't answer me" I said tears forming in my eyes

Lucy: Natsu please tell me!!

I texted him. But still no answer

"Don't worry Lu-Chan. We'll talk to him tomorrow" Levy said looking behind her

Gajeel popped his knuckles to show he'll beat him up

"Juvia will to talk to Natsu. Same with Gray- sama" Juvia said standing next to me

"Thank you everyone" I said smiling

//THE NEXT DAY//

I sat in my usual seat. Drinking a strawberry milkshake

"I wonder where flame brain is" Gray said popping his knuckles

Hearing Natsu's name makes me wonder what he meant by Im sorry when he texted me

I was paying to much attention to my thoughts that I never realized the doors open

Gray tapped my elbow to get my attention

I looked up at him and noticed him point toward the door

I saw a girl with short white hair. She was hooking arms with someone but I couldn't tell who

As they walked further into the guild I realized it was Lisanna and the person she was hooking arms with was Natsu

"N-natsu?" I stuttered tears streaming down my face the second I saw them

"Lu-chan. Please stop crying" Levy begged

I couldn't stand seeing them.

I quickly got up and ran out the guild tears streaming down my face

Why Natsu? I asked in my head

As I continued to run the tears began to blur my vision

I soon couldn't see anything until I bumped into something and fell to the ground

I didn't have the strength to get up. I just laid there continuing to cry.

After a few minutes I heard footsteps

~Levy~

After Lucy ran out of the guild I walked up to Natsu and Lisanna

"Hey, shrimp! Come back!" Gajeel demanded

When I finally got close to them I took my hand and slapped Natsu

"Oi!" Natsu shouted

"That's for hurting Lu-chan" I pause taking my other hand and slapping the other side of his face

"And that's for making her cry!" I said

"Natsu are you o-" I cut of Lisanna

"Why would you do this?" I asked

"You knew perfectly well Lucy and Natsu were together!" I paused to catch my breath

"And Natsu why would you do that to her? She loved you. and this is what she gets back?" I paused again

"Wow what a boyfriend" I said

"I thought dragon slayers were loyal?" I paused one last time

"But I guess some are just cheaters. You don't know a single thing about loyalty" I said

"You need to open your eyes and see how loyal she was" I said "she's probably walking around with tears on her face wondering what she did to deserve this" I was about to say more when someone grabbed my wrist and pulled me away

I turned to see Gajeel

"Come on shrimp" he said

"No I'm not done!" I shouted

"Yes you ar-" he got cut off when I kicked him in his private area

He fell to the floor in pain

"You want to know something?" I asked him

"LUCY WAS GONNA LEAVE THE GUILD BECAUSE OF YOU" I shouted

I could feel the tears beginning to fall on my face

I could tell Natsu was going to cry

"Levy that's enough" I heard a familiar voice say

I looked behind Natsu and Lisanna to see Lucy standing in between Gray and Juvia

"Lu-chan!" I shouted in excitement

Lucy looked at Natsu then Lisanna before walking further into the guild

~Lucy~

After I walked past Natsu and Lisanna I could feel tears threatening to come out. But I held it in

I walked up to Master who was sitting on the counter with his legs crossed

"Hello Lucy. How are you feeling?" He asked with a smile

I made sure to say what I was going to say loud enough for everyone to hear

"Master I would like to leave the g-guild" I said stuttering the last part

"Alright as you wish. Please give me your hand"

I hesitated to give him my hand but I gave it to him

"There you go Lucy. Remember you'll always be my child" he said tears in the corner of his eyes

"May I visit?" I asked

"Of course child" he smiled

I smiled back

I turned around to see everyone in tears or on the verge. Only people who weren't crying were Lisanna and Natsu

Lisanna was smiling at me and Natsu was looking at the floor

I walked past everyone when I finally got to Levy I couldn't hold my tears anymore

"I'm sorry Levy" I said hugging Levy

"I'm gonna miss you so much" she said crying as well

After a minute, I finally let go of the blunette. I smiled at everyone else before leaving the guild

I could feel everyone's eyes on me as I was walking

Are you happy now Natsu? I asked in my head

Because of you I'm leaving my home and the only family I have left

Are you happy now, Natsu?
