Chapter 2 {Feelings}

~Natsu~

I woke up in a hospital room cold and full of pain

I was alone..... Technically not alone

I turned my head to the side to see a sleeping Lucy

She has her head on my bed and my hand she is also holding my hand

Feeling her warmth in her hand makes me feel safe and protected

I try to call for Lucy but nothing came out but air

So I just tapped my finger hoping she'll wake up

Suddenly Lucy's slowly lifts up her head

"Natsu!" She squeals

Erza, Happy, and Grey all bust through the door

"Look fire boy is finally awake" he said smirking

"I'm glad your ok Natsu" Erza says smiling

"I'm really sorry" Lucy says beginning to cry

"Sorry for what?" I asked

"If I listened to you, you wouldn't be here right now

"Don't be sorry Lucy" I said taking my hand and wiping the tears off her face

~ One week Later~

"All right your able to be released today" the doctor said smiling

"Great" I said smiling back

The doctor left the room leaving me and Lucy alone

"So how are you feeling?" Lucy asked getting my stuff ready

"I'm feeling good" I said

"That's good"she said turning to me

"You know you were close to death" she said

"I know" I said

"All because of me" she said

"I care about you" I said

"Y-you do?" She asked

"Yeah I mean your my best friend" I said smiling

"Oh" she said smiling back

Should I tell her how I actually feel?

"I had a dream" I blurted out

"What dream?" She asked looking at me

"It was a girl I couldn't see her face it was blurry" I said not thinking

"Oh" she said again

~Lucy~

As I push the wheel chair Natsu is sitting in so many things pop into my head

What was the dream about? Who was the girl? Does Natsu like me?

"You ok?" Natsu asked looking up at me

"Yeah I'm fine" I lied

As I rolled him down the street I noticed his face began to turn green

"Natsu you ok?" I asked stopping to look at him

He put a thumbs up and lifted his head and. Smiled

"Ok but we'll be back at the guild in a little bit just hang in there" I said continuing to push

When we got to the guild everyone was glad to see Natsu

"If you died there would be one less man in the guild" mumbled Elfman

"Yeah and it would be pretty boring" chuckled Mira

"And it wouldn't be the same without you" said Master Mocorove

"Awww come on guys quit with the gushy stuff!" I shouted

"What gushy stuff? Lucy hasn't said anything yet" Grumbled Macao

Everyone even Natsu looked at me

I could feel my face turn red

"Come on guys leave her alone" Levy said walking up to me and wrapping her arms around my shoulders

"Thanks Levy" I whispered

"No prob hey can I talk to you privately?" Asked Levy with a low whisper

"Yeah sure" I whispered back

I walked with Levy to the corner of the guild looking behind us to make sure no one followed

"So have you told him yet?" Asked Levy

"Told him what?" I asked even though I already know the answer

"That you like him!" Levy screamed

I took my hand and covered her mouth I looked behind me to see if anyone noticed

I took my hand and removed it from her face

"Opps sorry" she gushed

"It's fine but no I haven't told him yet" I said looking at the floor

I looked at Levy's face she had a disappointed expression

"Don't be disappointed I'll tell him soon now come on" I said getting up
