Once Naiomi fell she had this feeling like she has gone through this situation before, and when she looked up she saw Simon Cooper
"Simon!", Naiomi said "Simon Simon Simon Simonnn...!!!", Naiomi said repeatedly realizing it's actually him.
"Bump Buddies!", both Simon and Naiomi said
"Do you live here too?", Simon asked
"Oh no, we are here for the holidays, oh yah when I say "we", I came with my best friend Jada Maxwell", Naiomi said, "Jada, Simon, Simon, Jada", Naiomi said gesturing with her hands.
*Both Jada and Simon greeted each other*
A small awkward silence has been made, but Naiomi thought maybe it wasn't that awkward---they both shared this moment like they just met again for the first time or the moment when you really want to see someone and you actually do.(which both things actually did happen) Naiomi felt like she was riding a roller coaster once he saw him, his wavy hair, brown eyes, and sweet smile. They both smiled at each other, they probably didn't want it to end.
"So, do you guys have any plans for tomorrow's thanksgiving?", Simon asked to break the silence.
"No not really, we were thinking of just staying in our hotel room and have a simple dinner together", Jada replied because Naiomi wouldn't respond.
"If you want you can come over to my apartment and celebrate thanksgiving there with me", Simon said nervously, "but only if you want", Simon said awkwardly shaking around
Both Jada and Naiomi looked at each other, Jada grinning and Naiomi giving Idk yet face.
"We would love to!!", Jada said remorselessly
"Yeah that would be great, I hope we're not causing any trouble to anyone", Naiomi included
"No it's just me", Simon said
"Oh okay, well I guess we could cook for your dinner", Naiomi said
"Oh thanks, I'd love that, I don't really know how to cook but I could help?", Simon said shyly
"No worries we have our chief Jada", Naiomi said
All three of them awkwardly laugh together, but Naiomi and Simon swing and shake their bodies like kids again shyly.
Simon helped them with their groceries paid for it all, except the candies, Naiomi insisted.
"I'll pick you up both tomorrow I guess at 1 pm?", Simon asked
"Yeah sure, but how do you know what hotel?", Naiomi asked
"You are wearing their free bracelets", he said smiling and runoff
"So he's observant", Jada said while looking at Naiomi and slowly nodding like she understood something. (which she did)
"Oh like no one is observant", Naiomi said
"Yah but for you Naiomi, he went all out observant", Jada said while still nodding
"So, bubblehead, when are you getting to stop nodding?", Naiomi said with no hesitation
"And for you "a girl who keeps literally falling off to the ground for this sweet cute awkward dude, that's exactly like you, but still falling for "the boy", but instead your not literally falling for him" yeah exactly what I thought", Jada said rapidly and taking a long breath after
"I mean he does have wavy hair, brown eyes, and a cute smile, which makes me go HJBDIU GCBUHNCH", Naiomi while also realizing something. "Wait...brown, eyes, wavy hair, cute smile, Pennsylvania boy", Naiomi said repeatedly while Jada realizing what she's trying to say slowly
"Simon Cooper is "The Boy" ", Jada said
"Simon Cooper might be "The Boy" ", Naiomi said
"Oh com' on Naiomi, it could be him!", Jada said while shaking her hands making the grocery bags shake
"COULD BE", Naiomi repeated
"Fair enough", Jada replied," but you got ask him"
"I mean, but I don't want to", Naiomi said
"Why not", Jada said while shaking her hand harder
"Because it's quite embarrassing to ask", Naiomi said
"But you already asked one guy before", Jada said
Naiomi stopped walking and started looking at Jada and giving " the and how did that go" look.
"Right!", Jada said, "but you do got to ask"
"But like we already created a bond, so like asking this question might ruin it and I don't want that, and I don't think I am ready", Naiomi said, "I'll say when I am ready, maybe before we leave, so once we leave, we don't have to pass by him"
"Okay okay, I hope it goes well", Jada said while hugging giving a kiss on the cheek
