Do-bong sheltered only one high school. The building was marred by moss and climbers owing to the salty sea air circumventing the town. It looked like an old red brick structure with no life, well, there was no vigor in it at six in the morning when the teachers and administrative staff arrived.

The 'loss of life' concept was quite literal in a way that only the self-centered students and the benign presence of their beloved devil could define.

By seven, the ambience transformed from eternal stillness to great commotion, signifying the arrival of the life of the party - the students and well, we know who. In reality, the man of the hour had reached long back, around quarter past six, punctuality at its best. However, one thing he really admired was a grand entrance.

After most students had entered the building, the Devil sashayed in, hands dug in the pockets of his trousers, a light backpack hanging loosely on his shoulders, the unruly wonder of his hair dancing in the wind.

He reached the corridors, as students clamored to just have a look of him as some girls giggled and waved giddily.

"Hello Taehyung!", the kind class president, Park Jimin smiled as the Devil smiled back. How was he so popular? Well, he had his reasons.

In a few moments, a group of teachers walked out of the Staff Room, lifelessly, mechanically, like bots. Their lifeless eyes scanned the students, their souls withdrawn and brain construct maneuvered.

"What shall I teach today?", Ms. Jung asked. The Devil turned to face his classmates, walking towards In-Jung who sat quietly.

"So, what do you want to study?", he asked with a smile, as the girl, clearly taken aback stared around the room.

"Algebra", she bit her lip and flashed an apologetic smile. The Devil smiled back, this time, it was a toothy grin.

"Algebra it is then.", he gazed at the teacher who nodded her head and began scribbling on the blackboard.

Baek Sung-jun may have been the first one to have been bewitched, but he certainly wasn't the last.
