"come in!"

shotaro gulped before pushing the door of his best friend's dorm.

he found sungchan sprawled out on his bed, with bloodshot eyes because of the high amount of time he had spent on his phone.

"shotaro?" sunghcan rubbed his eyes to makes sure they weren't deceiving him. "what are you doing here?"

"i wanted us to go out." the ravenclaw replied honestly.

"us?" sungchan raised a brow. "i thought you wanted to spend more time with chenle."

shotaro fidgeted with his fingers, looking like the cutest otter in sungchan's mind.

"well... jisung forbade him to see me on tuesdays and thrusdays." shotaro told, making sungchan snort.

"you wouldn't have agreed with me if i had asked you that."

"yeah, but chenle loves his boyfriend too much for that." shotaro replied.

"oh, yeah, right- what?!"

shotaro flinched at sungchan's sudden outburst.

"why are you screamin?"

"did you just say boyfriend?" sungchan asked to make sure.

"yeah, jsung confessed a week and a half ago." shotaro replied. "they've been together ever sicne. didn't you know?"

sungchan stayed silent, thinking about what shotaro had just told him.

he cursed at jisung a few times for not even sending him a message to tell him about him confessing.

"sungchan?!" shotaro yelled for the nth time to catch his best friend's attention.

"yeah, sorry." he apologized. "what do you want from me?"

"well... asking me out would be cool, but- "

"WHAT?!"

shotaro cursed in japanese as he realised that he had said this out loud.

he didn't mean to tell his best friend directly that he had feelings for him.

he had tried making him understand this for a long time now, and sungchan never seemed to notice, so, let's say he had abandoned that idea.

"nothing." shotaro mumbled.

"did you ask me to ask you out?" sungchan questioned, standing up from his bed and approaching the boy.

shotaro gulped, feeling minuscule standing in front of his giant best friend.

"n-no..."

"you just did. i heard you." sungchan raised a brow.

shotaro bit his lip.

"y-yeah, but you don't have to! i know that you don't- "

shotaro was interrupted by sungchan's lips on his own, and he froze completely, unable to move.

"let's go on a date then." sungchan said, intertwining their hands together. "you're no longer my best friend, sho. you're now officially my boyfriend."

shotaro was still shocked with what had just happened.

he was still frozen on his spot.
