"jeno, are you ready?"

"one second."

mark lightly tapped his foot on the floor, waiting for his roommate who was unnecessary slow in dressing up.

"here i am." jeno appeared after a few minutes.

"really?" mark raised a brow. "it took you all that time to wear black jeans, a black shirt and a gryffindor jacket?"

jeno shrugged. "i wasn't sure what to wear."

mark rolled his eyes, chuckling lightly at his friend.

"let's go, we're going to be late like last time." he added before the two boys left the dorm to get to the school's gates.

they were supposed to have a trip with some other students to hogsmeade.

mark had been willing to show jeno around for the past month, but they were late for the last trip, so they couldn't go there.

the two gryffindors ran across the corridors, trying to get to the gates the quickest possible in order not to miss the departure for the second time.

"here they are!" mark exclaimed, pointing at a large group of wizards waiting in front of the gates.

"we're on time!" jeno laughed, running behind his older friend.

before the two boys could reach the gates, a loud and close thud made mark turn around.

jeno was groaning on the floor, lying under a brunette who was rubbing the side of his head.

"fuck, that hurt." jeno groaned as he sat up.

"donghyuck, are you okay?" another boy exclaimed, approaching the brunette and helping him up.

mark helped jeno up as the two other students – who happened to be slytheins – talked on their side.

mark could hear words along the lines of 'are you hurt somewhere?' and 'do you feel okay?'.

as he was about to ask the same questions to his own friend, one of the slytherins – the one who hadn't fallen – turned jeno around quite violently.

"can't you watch where you're going?!" he said rudely.

"excuse me, but he was running as well. so, he should have been careful too." mark interrupted.

"am i talking to you at the moment?"

"jaemin..." the brunette pulled the sleeve of the angry slytherin.

"not now, donghyuck." jaemin turned around to look at jeno once again.

"i could have you fired for what you did." jaemin said, his eyes burning holes into jeno's skull.

"come on, he did nothing." mark rolled his eyes.

"and it's the same for you." jaemin threatened mark as well.
