It didn't took Lauren much time to spot y/n on the upper floor, but still inside. It was all very quiet, but it was possible to hear the wind blowing softly. The captain approached the queen and grabbed her wrist, turning her around, and making her stop.
The royal turned around still with the same look and posture. "So do you need anything captain?" She asked politely.
"I said I'm taking you home." She repeated.
"Thank you that's very kind of you."
Lauren stayed silent a few seconds. "I'm sorry."
"Your apology is accepted." She nodded a little and smiled politely though it died since her cheek hurt.
"And I'm sorry for that." She pointed to her cheek.
"I'm sure you had your reason captain. Now, if you excuse me." She made the raven woman let her go. "I will get back to my cell like you requested, I'm afraid I do like both my eyes." She turned around and walked in her cell.
The captain quickly grabbed her arms, not letting her go completely. "I'm not going to take your eyes out."
"I'm indeed grateful for that captain." Y/n continued to act like the royals.
Lauren slowly hugged her from behind, closing her eyes. The shorter stayed silent and very still her gazed fixed on the wall. Slowly tears filled her tired eyes and she closed them letting some fall. It sting a little due to the cut in her cheek, but she didn't make a sound.
"I'm so sorry." The captain whispered to her. "I am so deeply sorry."
"Your apology is a-accepted." Her voice cracked a little at the end and she clear her throat after.
"No, I am not apologizing to the queen. I'm apologising to my best friend."
Y/n sniffed a little. "I am a queen and a princess, that's all I am."
"I miss you. And I'm not going to stop missing by best friend." She whispered.
"I have duties Lauren you have to understand that... I miss you, so much." She sobbed. "But I have to go back."
Lauren made her face her and hugged her tightly. "I'm taking you back."
The shorter hugged her back and hide her face on the woman's neck crying from both pains, physically and emotionally.
The captain swallowed dry, but couldn't hold the few tears that fell. "I'm taking you home, just like you want."
"The queen needs to go home... I just want my best friend back."
"You can go back home, but I can't go back to land. I don't belong there."
Y/n simply hugged her more staying as close as possible. "You will always be welcome in my land."
"Are you sure you won't just kill me once I get there?"
"I do have to punish you for killing my husband..." She mumbled thinking. "And for the kidnapping and aggression."
Lauren pulled her away. "Then I apologise, but I won't go on your land."
"But I want you to see my palace." She pouted.
"I won't be punished, I'm sorry."
"Are you aware I can just punish you right here?"
"And do what?" Lauren raised an eyebrow.
"Silence treatment."
"I might take someone's eyes because of that."
"Not my I hope." She smiled but it died due to her cheek.
