Even with romantic feelings towards the younger, Lauren didn't try to make it happen, and if she did, it was the subtlest ever. She didn't want to lose the queen so she was very careful with her actions and words. That's why the next few days everything was very smooth.

Right on the next day, Lauren punished the horny pirate she cut the eye. She didn't give him to the sharks just because Ally convinced her not to. But the poor man, if someone could say so, was whipped by the captain, and in front of the queen, who just watched it all used to those kind of punishments. Afterwards the two just hang out.

Five days passed and the crew started getting use to another person walking around the ship, even if she was royalty and was mostly ignored. Ally was actually the only one she really got along with, especially because she started preparing her own food. It was weird because she was a queen, but she knew how to do those kind of chores since she did learn from Lauren's younger sister. Ally was a little surprise, the queen was really not some random royal, she was different. Y/n did get respect from the others crew members, as Lauren would walk around with her and sometimes she would give the orders the captain wanted. Of course the raven girl still wasn't completely good with her closest friends, but she did talk to them and no one would mock her or provoke her with her feelings towards y/n.

On the night from the fifth day to the sixth, the captain and the queen were getting ready to bed, when the younger stopped a little. She smiled with the idea which crossed her mind and quickly dressed something else before grabbing Laurens hand and pulling her to the front of the ship, right by the end of the bow. The night was warm, the sky full of stars, and the wind was blowing just enough, the water of the ocean mixed with the light coming from the full moon just made everything shine. It was really beautiful and y/n made both stop there. Lauren looked around. It seemed like a dream, since the weather was just perfect. Too perfect. After just thirty seconds looking around, her gaze focused once more on the woman in front of her.

"Why are we here? I don't mind it, this is beautiful, but still."

"Let's dance." She said excited.

"D-dance?" The captain asked a little surprised.

"Yes, come on." She held her hands. "You know how right?"

"Of course. Or did you forget our dance shows to your dogs on the garden?" She raised an eyebrow smiling.

"I remember my feet hurting when you lead." She mocked.

"I remember I always falling because you couldn't lead." She mocked back.

"None sense! I was the best dance partner you ever had. Because I didn't put my hand on your butt like mine did to me on my dance lessons." The shorter got into position letting the older lead.

"I never liked your dancing partners." Lauren got in the correct position, feeling a stronger blow of wind but not really paying attention to it. "I don't put my hand on your butt."

"You are my best partner. Now surprise me."

"Us pirates like to dance." She kissed her cheek before she started leading the dance, imagining like music was there.

Y/n just smiled and let the woman lead. Both simply started dancing, with the moonlight on top of the two. The younger's gaze never left the green eyes for a second, and of course she was smiling enjoying the dance, which was actually going very good. Lauren's gaze also never left y/n's. She had a bright smile, and was showing off the queen how well she could dance. With the moon above them, it made things more magical, and even with the bumps of the boat in the waves, making one or another stumble a little, it simply worked as a way for them to get closer and closer to each other, almost forgetting everything around them. The two were on their own bubble.
