To say Jupiter was having a terrible day would be an understatement.

They were on a tight schedule after all-- from defacing the monument, to investigating the legendary statue's origins-- she had to get it done by the end of the week.

Deciphering the latter half of the inscriptions would have to be left to Saturn-- but something ought to remain. Certainly, they asked around the city at first-- but the townsfolk were either too suspicious of them, or just flat out refused to trust them.

Rad Rickshaw-- his bike shop is a fairly recent addition to this city, but he lived here his whole life. Much more, he controls the flow of information and commerce in this town. Supplementing those factors to his three Pokemon of spatial relevance-- if anyone would know anything concrete, it would be him or no one else.

And yet, he refused to say anything.

(And it was obvious why.)

(Rad Rickshaw knew the horrors of the might of the legendary Pokemon, and realized that he had a duty to keep his knowledge within himself.)

(Because these aren't just rumours-- these are true, and in the right hands, possible.)

She kneads her knuckle into her temple. She's barely gotten any sleep in ages-- and her work wasn't close to done. And now apparently some of the grunts let his Cleffa escape? And the Gym Leader, along with some townsfolk, were beginning to throw their tantrums downstairs.

"Chase them away, force them out if you must," Jupiter orders, "If they remain outside, get the Stunky bombs to deter them."

The grunts nodded, and went right on their way.

"The rest of you supplement the patrol in and outside of the building. I won't allow a mistake like that again," she warned.

They finally filed away, and she sighed.

She would take a break for now. Perhaps some time in the store room would make Rad Rickshaw finally crack under the pressure.

Her attention turns to the slight rattle at her waist, and she considers her Pokemon.

(Kadabra is agitated.)

It must sense a disturbance in the building-- is it nearby? If it's an infiltrator... yes, an infiltrator. There's so much noise, what better time to slip into their defenses? She steps forward. If she heads down to the command center, she could--

A loud shriek interrupts from her left-- and she flinches back, completely caught off guard.

The Pokemon-- she couldn't catch what it was-- bursts into a wheel of flames, and whirls forward, barreling into her arm and searing through the fabric of her sleeve.
