" Miss [First name]! " was being repeated throughout your mind, until you bolted your eyes wide open to see your teacher who had a frightening scowl on her face.
" See me after class.. RIGHT AFTER CLASS! " She raised her voice while scolding you, and stomped back to the front of the classroom with the sound of her clicking high-heels; looking around you saw almost everyone giggling while you were embarrassed and felt guilty for sleeping during math class.
• After Class & School •
After school, you called your mom to pick you up.
" Hey, this is [Mom's name and last name] I'm currently very busy or couldn't answer my phone right now. Try to call you back, thank you! " You let out a deep sigh when you received mom's voicemail and figured that she is probably busy with work and decided to walk home. Feeling a droplet of water on your head while walking, you cursed under your breath and had no choice but to walk in the rain and get wet.
" Ahh.. Life is so hard. " You said sighing and continued to walk while multiples, and multiples of water droplets continue to sprinkle everywhere.
Without looking what was in front of you, you bumped into a person and you fell on the ground rubbing your behind.
" Oww.. Ugh.. S-sorry for bumping in to you, I- " the person stood up and looked apologetic and cut your sentence off.
" No, no.. It's my fault.. " He bowed and offered you his hand for you to stand. Before taking it, you locked eyes at him. His hair was white.. So incredibly white that you looked so amazed and wanting to touch it. His eyes were a colour of grey where you can stare at them endlessly.
Non-hesitantly, you accepted his hand and he helped you up without you using your own strength to get up. ' Woah.. ' Looking a little astonished.
" U-um.. Thank you, uh- "
" Kaneki. " He interrupted again. " I'm Ken Kaneki. "
" Oh.. Thank you Kaneki.. I'm [First name]" you replied and smiled shyly.
He grinned and waved goodbye. " See you, [First name] " and you both walked opposite directions.
' Mysterious yet... C-cute.. ' You thought and continued to speed walk all the way to your house.
