"YOU SERIOUSLY NEED SOME MORE guy friends," Kiera said before popping a grape in her mouth.
It was lunchtime, and I was sitting with my friend group at our table, eating and talking. Sam was sitting next to me, and Kiera was sitting across from us.
Kiera is a literal goddess. Her light brown skin was so clear and smooth. Her big, dark brown eyes held excitement and happiness. She had her black hair straightened today which is very rare. Kiera and I have been best friends since middle school where I stood up for her after she came out for being lesbian. Some people can be so cruel, but after that day, nobody else messed with her.
But now she's a really, tough person who doesn't let anybody bring her down. I think it had to do with her parents' divorce, and her Dad marrying another woman who already has two kids not even a year after her parents spilt.
"I do have guy friends," Sam argued right before Tessa and her boyfriend, Ben, sat down. "Ben, you are my friend, right?"
Ben grinned,"Of course."
Ben and Tessa have been dating for about six months now, and they fit perfectly. Ben is on the football team, and Tessa is the co captain of the cheer team. Both of their personalities go together so well, and it's so nice seeing Tessa happy.
Tessa is a beautiful girl with long blonde hair and caramel brown eyes. She is one of the most popular girls in school, but unlike Angel, she's the sweetest person you'll ever meet. Tessa helps out with fundraisers for anything, does school events, and even tutors in her spare time. She literally is the definition of an angel.
"Ben is biased because you are the captain of the football team. If he said no, you would make him run till he puked," Kiera replied with a tiny smirk.
"I don't think I'm that cruel," Sam argued as he threw an arm around the back of my chair.
"Well, newsflash, you are," Kiera joked, making Sam gasp, dramatically, as he grabbed his chest.
"So rude! AB, Kiera is being really mean," Sam exclaimed, making me laugh.
"You two quit it," I played along as I dipped a french fry in ketchup.
"So.....Amber," Ben said, catching my attention as I ate my fry,"I heard you almost took Noah's head off this morning."
My eyebrows furrowed together in confusion till I saw Sam's eyes widen. Traitor.
"I did not. He is the one who started with me when he cut me off from my parking spot," I argued with a roll of my eyes.
"Why do you dislike him so much? He's not that bad of a guy," Kiera asked, stabbing her strawberries with her fork.
