Chapter 16

Harry's POV

As I calmed down Kat marched back in with Hermione on her tail. "Kat I'm sorry! He had to pay for what he did!" She shouted. Kat just ignored her. She walked up to Madame Pomfrey. "Let Harry out... I can help." She said quietly. Madame flicked her wand. I tried to move my wrists and nothing held them back. I quickly sat up. I rubbed my wrists. "Are you sure that spell wasn't a rope that was rubbing my wrists raw?" I asked sarcastically. A pain filled me again. I fell to the floor and held my head in my hands. A small scream escaped my lips. I felt someone pull me into their arms. I felt shocks of electricity flow through me... Kat. I leaned into her touch. "Just cause I'm comforting you doesn't mean I forgive you... or that I'm going to talk to you when this is over." She said leaning her head on mine. I just nodded... trying to enjoy every second... knowing that it wouldn't happen again any time soon. I let out a shaky breath. I whimpered as pain built up in my body. I felt Kat's grip tighten on me. The pain got worse. I started to struggle to get out of her arms. I started to scream again. She just held me close... not letting go of me. "It'll be okay... It'll all be okay Harry." She whispered in my ear as I screamed. I started to calm down. Her grip loosened and I whimpered as she pulled away. "Where does it hurt?" She asked me. I paused... then I simply just pointed... to my heart. I saw sadness flicker in her eyes. But she quickly covered it up with anger towards me. "HOW COULD YOU CHEAT ON ME?" She screamed. I flinched and her face softened. "Cho kissed me first. I promise Kat." I said to her softly. She just turned on her heel and started talking to Madame Pomfrey. Hermione and Madame walked out. Kat turned back to me. She put a silencing charm on the door and walked towards me. She. Looked. Angry! I slowly backed away. She raised her hand and my hands covered my face. I brought my knees up to my chest. "You thought I was going to hit you?" She said softly. I just nodded. I slowly brought my hands down. I saw pain come to her eyes again. And this time she didn't cover it up. She just walked out of the Hospital Wing.

-1 week later-

I got out of the Hospital Wing two days ago. It has been terrible. People always point and whisper. Probably because of Kat. "Hey." Someone says from behind me. I turned around. Hermione comes and sits beside me. "Look. I'm sorry for what I did to you." She said quietly. I just shrugged. "It's nothing compared to what Kat's giving me." I said shrugging my shoulders. "I tried to tell her that it was Cho's fault but she didn't believe me... she'll come around. I promise." She said looking at me. I smiled sadly at her. "Wait... then why did you show me that memory?" I asked her. "Because I knew that this would happen... she would feel bad for you... and you guys would get another moment. Am I right?" She asked laughing softly. I nodded. "Thank you." I said to her. She just smiled. Then she got up and left. I heard someone coming down the stairs. I turned and saw Kat. "Kat." I breathed. She turned towards me. She was about to turn back around... "Kat please." I whispered. She slowly turned back around. "What do you want?" She growled. My heart broke. "Please Kat. You have to
believe me. Cho kissed me." I said begging her. "Yeah. And you kissed back." She said slowly. "NO I DIDNT! I TRIED TO PUSH HER AWAY!" I shouted. She flinched. "WELL THEN IM SORRY THAT I DON'T BELIEVE YOU!" She shouted back. "WELL THEN WHY WERE WE FRIENDS IN THE FIRST PLACE?" I shouted. I regretted my words right as they passed my lips. Her face fell. But it was soon replaced with anger. "BECAUSE I SAVED YOU FROM BEING BEAT UP ONE DAY! YOUR COUSIN WAS GOING TO BREAK YOUR NECK! BUT I GUESS IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE FRIENDS THEN WE NEVER HAVE TO BE!" She screamed with tears streaming down her face. "IM SORRY THAT IM SUCH A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!" She shouted as she ran out of the room. What have I done?
