Zülfüleyfe knew very well that her master and Sariye wanted to listen to the whole story. Despite that, she was trying to recite the story in a shortened and less detailed format but all the while, making sure that they would understand it fully. She was trying hard to detain herself from the influence of the events and to adapt a narrative style concentrated and assimilated to the current time. Besides all these, she was looking into the eyes of two people who would be more than willing to listen breathless to her stories for weeks. She continued with a faraway look on her face;

"I really don't want to bore you or to ramble on. I will simplify the whole story to a shorter and understandable format for you. We were left two people now and we were not able to keep up with the work. One day, 2 old people walked in through the big and well-guarded doors of the prison. Both were carrying a wooden suitcase in their hand and a fabric bag on their back. They seemed quite vigorous with respect to their age and the weight they caried. The old woman approached us, while the old man went to see the men. They were definitely not prisoners but workers who were here to attend to the everyday jobs of the prison and specially to give us a hand.

The old woman's name was Melina. She was good-humored and helpful. She knew her way around and was patiently and gently teaching us what to do. Her husband, Selfa was taking care of some of the maintenance and repair jobs in the men's section. In the first month of his arrival, he painted every corner and made sure that the whole place was tip-top. After two months of time, we were close friends with Melina.

I told her the ongoing incidents in a way she would understand but did not mention the dream. That was because it is very difficult to convince someone that the current time zone is not real and furthermore, I was afraid that something might happen causing me to wake up.

As days pass, Melina also started reading the papers and making comments on them but just like me, she was unable to identify the owner of the writing. She was saying that the owner of the secret would reveal himself eventually but the whole control being in his hands for the time being.

One Saturday morning I woke up around eight in the morning. I felt as though the world had collapsed on me, I was so tired and weary. I attended to my chores for an hour or so but then I fainted while sweeping the hallway. All I can remember before fainting was that men were outside, all seated in a position to see me. That is, Difan and Yeğzan have seen me fainting. The thing I remembered after this fainting incident is that Melina and Difan both were waiting at my bedside. Difan always seemed to be by my side despite the fact that he is hardly allowed to our section. Every time I slightly came to myself, I saw these two and Selfa and heard of Wolf Luthlosia, something which made no sense to me since I have never heard of it before.

It took one month for me to open my eyes, that is I haven't shown any reaction for one whole month. Seeing Difan every time I opened my eyes slightly made me think that he was the owner of those writings. Because I haven't seen Yeğzan once during this period. Meanwhile Melina kept feeding me with a mixture, keeping my spirit high by telling me that I would get well soon.

After two more weeks I was able to stand up and walk by myself. Melina told me that I might have been infected by a virus for which she has prepared a mixture and, in a way, saved my life. After all these, I really started thinking that Dilan was the right person since Yeğzan was nowhere around. I came across Selfa when I started to walk around and I asked him about Yeğzan. He has escaped from the prison but later returned and then exiled to another prison. Normally the ones who escaped from this prison are sentenced to gun fire execution but he has returned, must have been scared of death.

That night we had a talk with Melina and I told her that I have reached a decision. She told me that my decision was not right and that there were things I was not able to see and understand. She was always implying something as though she had this gut feeling. She kept telling me that I was in dream that I have to wake up from and then fall asleep and wake up once again. I bet her words meant something which I was incapable of perceiving. My decision might not be the correct one but I still wanted to wake up.

While I was talking to Melina, my eyes caught the sight of a glass jar with green lid siting on the library. There was a plant in it which I have not seen before, a plant with flowers of red and blue tones. I stood up, took the jar and opened it. The smell was identical to the one which woke me up from my illness. When I told this to Melina, she confirmed adding that actually, it was not the smell that woke me up but the healing power. She said that this plant grows on the island but is very difficult to get it, however, she did not tell me anything when I asked her who brought the plant? She only told me that a secret owner has brought the plant which as a result brough me to them."

The door was knocked at the very intense moment of the story. The intruder was, as expected, Ehzel carrying in Mihca's routine tea service. Mihca asked Ehzel to bring in two more glasses which Ehzel brought quickly, served the tea and left the room. Mihca, looking at the tea glasses thought that their talk would be even more intense. Zülfüleyfe took a sip of tea and continued with her endless talk.

"Melina knew a lot but seemed to keep them from me no matter how I insisted. She wanted me to unsolve the mystery behind it all by myself. She always said that love is hardship, it is difficult and if you chose this road by yourself then it is again your responsibility to find the way out and it is impossible to appreciate the reward unless you suffer throughout the road. After a long talk, Melina took a crumpled paper out of her pocket. It was one of the papers send to me. I opened it impatiently and read the beautiful and thoughtful words;

If I can touch you through the hands of alchemy,

When Saturn star passes through the needle eye for me,

Taking this silent of call of mine,

Embroidering it to the heart of my beloved one,

Would you hear and accept it my love?"

The words were so effective and deep that I started crying holding on to Melina's hands. The secret was with me and hidden in these beautiful words. I was so eager to solve the misery and embrace the love and the heat of the secret owner."

(Zülfüleyfe was saddened just like in her dream when she was telling this part. She had a fire of longing burning inside her.)

"Don't look at me like that because I was sad, I did find he owner of the secret after all. I will tell you a bit more then I intend to let him tell you the rest of it.

A few more days past and I thought there was no meaning in waiting anymore since there was no other alternatives. Difan was the only one remaining since Yeğzan wouldn't obviously fled from the prison if he was truly in love with me. It was totally irrational to choose someone who has deliberately run away from me. I was determined to finish my dream the next day. I came to love Melina so much that she became the major reason for my unwillingness to wake up. But it was impossible to stay there forever and furthermore, they have started to treat me like a prisoner as well.

Next day, after the breakfast I gave Melina a huge and long hug telling her that I would be climbing up to the light house at the side of the prison to get some fresh air and the put my thoughts straight. I have been there before and watching the calm and slow sailing of the passing ships gave me a nice sense of tranquility making me think and dream of better dreams. Actually, it made me forget the current situation I am in, letting me relax and forget. I climbed up the lighthouse and after watching the ships sail away through its small window, I took a pen and a paper.

Exactly as Mihca has instructed me, I started to write on the paper I placed in the book in the chest:

"Date: January 1, 1600, Number: 275462, Word: Lover. It was time for me to wake up so I closed my eyes, reached out to the paper and felt that I wrote down Lover. When I opened my eyes again, I was not here. I woke up in a cottage. I stood up and looked out of the window. I was on the other side of the island, across from the light house which I was in just a few moments ago. Now there was the sea and a distance of many kilometers in between us."

Mihca stood up;

"So you woke up to another dream in your dream!..."
