Your POV

You opened the door to the Lucky Cat Café, hearing a small bell ring. You smiled seeing Ms. Hamada, walking swiftly from table to table serving her customers. You took a deep breath in, the smell of freshly baked scones evading your sense of smell. Hiro's eye caught you from the bottom of the stairs, he waved you over soon walking up the stairs. Ms. Hamada hadn't noticed you yet due to the overwhelming lunch rush. You made your way across the room, dodging tables on your way. You trudged up the steps, keeping the thumping volume low. You soon made your way up the second set of steps and into the Hamada brother's room. Hiro was already at his desk, pushing his wheely chair around.

"Hey Hiro.." You looked over at Tadashi's side of the room, his bed messy and unkept. "Where's Tadashi?" You inquired, feeling your heart jump at his name rolling off your tongue. Hiro rolled his chair right over to you, the soft back hitting your hip. Hiro looked up and smiled.

"At the nerd school." He responded, placing his hand on your thigh and pushing off, wheeling back to his desk. "But I called you up here to see..." His voiced trailed off, the absence of his voice replaced with a shuffling of stuff. You crossed your arms, a lopsided smile tugging at your lips. He soon pulled out a small black item between his fingertips. "....a microbot!" He let it roll into his palm as you stepped closer and leaned down to see the teeny robot closer. You pulled a few strands of (h/c) locks behind your ear. You breathed out.

"Is this the final design?" You asked, picking it up cautiously, squinting your eyes at it.

"I need to make a few tweaks to the bot, annnddd..." He held up a flimsy sweatband looking thing. "...I need some help with the headband size, and since your head is rather small..." He shrugged his shoulders. You scowled at him playfully.

"What are you trying to say..?!" You said a bit loudly. He laughed lightly, sliding the band around your forehead, adjusting it to fit your head snugly. He took it off and jotted down the measurements.

"Thanks!" He chirped. He turned his back to you, scribbling down more things onto his paper. "Just wait 'til you see how many I'm going to make!!" His voice seemed so determined and full of passion. You leaned against the back of the chair, leaning it back as well.

"You're a lot like your brother whether you like to think it or not..." You state, seeing his pencil lead move swiftly on the semi-blank paper. He huffed playfully in response.

"Oh, speaking of, Aunt Cass wanted Tadashi home around three-ish so that she can see him." He turned his head over his shoulder. "She feels like he's too cooped up in that lab of his and I'm too busy working on this....though you have some time until you could leave." He informed you and you nodded. You fell back into Hiro's bed, sighing.

"Lazy ass..." You mumbled.

"I heardddd youuu (Naaamme)~" He cooed, you giggling in response. You rolled onto your stomach and swung your feet up and down, feeling the bed shift lightly beneath you. Your stomach rumbled a bit. You stood up.

"I'm going to get something small to munch on and then I think I'll go get the nerd." You tell Hiro. He nodded, not looking from his paper. You walked out from the room, and into the bakery, feeling welcomed with the smells of the delicious foods. Aunt Cass' eyes caught you and she smiled. You stopped at the counter, grinning back.

"One scone to go please!" You say through your smile.

"Anything for my favorite customer!~" She took her tongs and grabbed a steamy scone, grabbing a paper bag with her free hand and fluffing it open, she soon placed a napkin on the counter, putting the hot scone on top and stuffing it into the bag. She pushed it to you. You reached for your wallet in your back pocket until she caught you.
