WHEN OKA GOT home and could shut her door shut without the fear of her parents entering, she flopped onto her bed and quickly opened her phone. She flipped through her contacts, fingers halting when she couldn't find Tendou's.

A rising anxiety began to sneak up on her and she typed in his name, biting her lip when no results showed up. She retyped it, trying his first name. Her lip trembled as she sat up, chest heaving. She tried every single fucking combination she could think of before slamming her phone down with a ragged scream.

She punched her pillows before tearing into her backpack, trying to find that little piece of paper Tendou had slipped into her hand when she thought no one could ever love her.

Her breathing became near frantic as she realized she couldn't find it and threw her backpack across the room. A hoarse sob escaped her throat as horrifying realization dawned on her.

  She had lost Tendou Satori.
