The Stones continued to discuss the proposal, narrowing down the pros and cons of this operation, and how realistic some of the tasks required to have this work are. And as the day wore on, the closer they came to their answer...

After an hour or so of questioning the legitimacy of the idea they got their answer. "So we're doing this?" Bill asked. "I think so," Mick replied. It was clear. They were going to the safe place on the coast. But they had to make a plan. "Let's plan this out in a little while, after dinner. Say, seven or so?" Charlie said. Everyone agreed to seven. The Stones left the dining room to tend to their own things. Bill went out on the balcony of his room, Keith and Ronnie went to go play poker in their room, and Charlie went to do more research. After everyone left, it was just the two Micks in the dining room. Mick T left and sat on the sofa, turning on the tv. Mick came over to Mick T and sat next to him. Though it eventually turned into Mick cuddling up against Mick T, covered in blankets. They soon both fell asleep. Everything was calm and peaceful. Nothing could spoil this—— oh wait, actually yes.A loud thud sounded upstairs, followed by thundering footsteps—- two pairs to be exact. Bill screamed and ran as a zombie moaned and chased after him. Keith and Ronnie ran out of their room attracted by the noise just to see Bill getting cornered by the zombie. Ronnie pulled out his pocket knife and threw it into the zombie's back, causing it to scream in agony. "Hey look at me, come get me! I taste better than him!" Ronnie yelled. The zombie, hurt and angry, turned around and began to stagger-run towards Ronnie. Ronnie ran, though he wasn't frightened; Keith had his back. Keith pulled out a literal machete that somehow was conveniently in his pocket and sliced the zombie neatly in half. Zombie blood and guts splattered everywhere. Bill lay in the corner wide-eyed as the Micks and Charlie came up stairs. "What is all the racke- oh, jesus christ!" Mick exclaimed. "Well, that is one gory scene. Who- Keith! A machete!? Lord-" Charlie said, startled. "Well yeah." Keith said. "It's Keith, what else could you expect?" Mick said. They all nodded. Mick T glanced around the hall, spotting Bill catching his breath in the corner. "Are you okay?" Mick T asked, looking at Bill. "Yeah, I'm fine." He said as he stood up and walked toward the others. "Well, Keith since you uh- did this," Charlie said, motioning to the former-zombie dismembered on the floor. "Could you and Ronnie clean it up?" "Uh yeah sure." Keith said reluctantly. "I'll go get you guys some cleaning supplies." Charlie said. Charlie left the hallway and went downstairs.
"So uh, how did the zombie get in here Bill? What's the story?" Mick asked curiously. "Well, I was on the balcony when I heard some grunting. Then a zombie crawled up and started chasing me. I ran inside then." Bill answered. "We need to figure out how the zombies are climbing up here." Ronnie said as Charlie returned with cleaning supplies. "I think they're getting up on those vines on the pillars down there." Bill replied as Charlie handed Ronnie and Keith the supplies. "Mick and I will go and investigate." Mick T stated. Mick groaned in protest to which Mick T replied, "Oh come on honey, you have to do something. Not just sit and watch tv." "But I just wanna cuddle with you." Mick pleaded, looking up at Mick T. "We can cuddle after." Mick T said. Mick looked content with that, and the two went out to investigate as Keith and Ronnie began cleaning up the zombie mess. Bill and Charlie went downstairs to play chess.
"Check. Your move," Charlie said, glancing up at Bill. "Ahh, uh," Bill said, contemplating his move. He escaped Charlie's grasp, for now. "Check. Your move," Charlie said, completely sincere. Bill looked at him slyly before making his move proudly. Charlie smiled knowing Bill had made a mistake. He slowly glided his hand to the chess piece. "And, checkmate. Sorry Bill." Charlie said and smiled. "Ah, damn. How?" Bill said, mildly frustrated. "Oh don't beat yourself up about it, it's a game. I can coach you if you want." Charlie replied. "That would be nice." Bill said. After a moment of silence Bill stood and went over to Charlie. "I'll see you later." He whispered, before giving him a soft kiss on the cheek. "Goodbye darling!" Charlie said smiling as Bill left the room. Meanwhile, the Micks we're on the balcony investigating the vine situation.
"Let's have a look here..." Mick T said, peering over the balcony rim. There were thick strong vines curling around the pillars, strong enough for a person to climb on them. "There's the problem, right there." Mick T observed as Mick peered over to see aswell. "Alright... Mick, darling? Would you mind getting some shears?" Mick T asked. "Sure! Where are they?" Mick said. "In the basement, on the shelf on the stairs I think." Mick T replied as Mick began to walk inside. "Oh, and if it's not there, ask Charlie where it is. He'll know." Mick T added. "Okay!" Mick said. Mick T stood still for a while, surveying the landscape, lost in his thoughts. Mick came back with the shears; "I got them." Mick said, causing Mick T to snap back into reality. "Thanks." He said quietly. "Were you thinking?" Mick asked, gently prying. Mick T nodded. "What about?" Mick pried further, a concerned look crossed his face as he looked into Mick T's eyes. Mick T averted his gaze, looking away from Mick for a moment, before he spoke. "I'm just shook up a bit about the zombies. And- oh nevermind." Mick T responded uncomfortably. "What? Come on darling you can tell me." Mick said, continuing to look at Mick T. "Well, I'm just- I-," Mick T stuttered. "I don't wanna die. I mean, these zombies, they almost killed Charlie and Bill- I'm scared Mick." Mick T began to cry. Mick held him in his arms, consoling him. "It's alright baby, you won't die, it's okay." Mick T gradually calmed down and looked up at Mick. Mick wiped a tear from Mick T's eye. "Are you alright now?" Mick asked, running his fingers through Mick T's hair and pushing some behind his ear. "Yeah." Mick T replied between sniffles. They stood there for a moment, looking out on the green hills. Mick T regained his strength. "Why don't we get on this vine cutting, huh?" Mick T asked. "Alright!" Mick said and smiled, kissing Mick T on the head.
The day wore on, the sun began to dip behind the hills. Dinner was nearing, and with it comes the planning...
