Everyone had gone to bed, except for Ronnie and Keith. They sat around the dying fire in silence, enjoying the still night. "I think we should get some sleep, we're leaving early tomorrow." Ronnie said, beginning to stand up. "Okay." Keith said, standing up. Before they went to sleep, Keith turned Ronnie around. "I uh, just wanted to say I'm thankful for you comforting me this morning." Ronnie smiled. "Anytime." He kissed Keith's cheek softly as he laid down in the cool grass. Keith did the same, resting by Ronnie's side, soon drifting off to the peaceful sounds of the crickets and crackling fire.

6:00 am
"Wake up please, you're hurting my arm." Bill whispered desperately,  nudging Charlie, hoping he'll wake up and get off his arm. "Wha..." Charlie trailed off into a yawn. "You're hurting my arm." Bill repeated. "Oh, sorry." Charlie said sleepily, sitting upright. "It's okay." Bill chuckled quietly, covering up his wince from moving his dying arm. "Morning already?" Mick said groggily. "Yeah." Mick T said sleepily. Meanwhile, outside the cramped car, Keith and Ronnie were still fast asleep. Everyone got out of the car to eat and pack. "Look at the snoring duet over there." Mick snickered. The others laughed quietly. "I'll wake them." Mick T said before walking over to Keith and Ronnie. "Hey guys, it's morning." Mick T said quietly, tapping them both. "Huh? What?" Ronnie said surprised, sitting up. Keith grunted and rubbed his eyes. "Hello." Mick said, sitting by the fire. "Hi." Ronnie said, standing up. "Wait don't go! I'm cold." Keith complained to Ronnie. "You have to get up. Here," Ronnie said, giving Keith his jacket. "Thanks." Keith said, though he was disappointed. "Come sit by the fire, it'll warm ya up." Bill said to Keith. Keith grunted in response and came to sit by the fire, scooting close to Ronnie. They had a quick breakfast of oatmeal and packed up quickly. By 6:45 they were on the road. "How long are we going to be in the car?" Ronnie asked. "About 8 hours, then we'll stop in a small town for the night. We need to stock up on gas and other things there." Bill answered. Mick groaned. "8 hours!?" "Yep." Bill said. "Let's go. The sooner we get there the better." Charlie said. The Stones sped down the highway because now that zombies had invaded there was no speed limit. On occasion they'd pass a car on the side of the road, that probably belonged to someone going to the safe place, but the zombies got them first. Ronnie rolled down his window, lighting up a cigarette. Keith turned on the radio (don't ask how there are still working radio stations during a zombie apocalypse). Charlie told Bill where to go using his maps. Mick took a nap, resting his head on Mick T's shoulder, as Mick T read his book. A peaceful ride in the car.

12:00 pm
"There should be a bridge up ahead." Charlie said. "Okay." Bill nodded, looking ahead. "There it is!"
A large bridge extended over a winding river, leading into a dense, dark forest. On it were many abandoned cars, and as they got closer they could spot blood stains on some of them. "Whoever spots the most zombies gets a free back scratch from Mick!" Mick said excitedly, leaving a confused look on Mick T's face. "Yes!" Ronnie cheered. They all decided to play, even Charlie. "Another one!" Ronnie half shouted, pointing to a dead zombie lying on the ground. "Damn it! I could have gotten that." Mick said. Mick T laughed at Mick's frustration. Mick glared at him, causing his smile to disappear. Mick could be pretty scary sometimes. "Yes, 23 zombies! I win!" Ronnie said, sticking his tongue out at Mick. "Not fair, you stole that one from me." Mick sulked. "Come on, I'll give you a back scratch later." Mick T said, causing Mick to lighten up. "Man, how are you so good at this?" Ronnie asked Mick T as he rubbed his back. "Haha, I don't know." Mick T said, chuckling slightly. "Playing guitar so much?" Bill asked. Everyone laughed. Mick T finished Ronnie's back scratch, and gave Mick one. Now everyone was content.

"How hungry are you guys?" Bill asked. "Hungry." Charlie answered. "I'd have eaten Mick if he wasn't giving me a back rub." Mick answered jokingly. "Okay, I think there's some stuff for sandwiches in the snack box. Help yourselves." Bill said. Everyone eagerly ate their food. With the radio softly playing in the background, the Micks and Ronnie fell asleep for almost the rest of the drive. The road through the forest twisted and turned, and the further they went the darker it got. Bill felt uneasy driving through here, but he knew it would only be a few more hours. The car was getting a bit warm, so he rolled the windows down slightly, letting the cool breeze enter the car. As he drove, he heard the moans of zombies echo through the forest. A tight knot began forming in his stomach as he flashed back to the tire changing incident. He was able to regain himself and stop the car from going off course. Just focus, he thought. It's gonna be a long couple hours.

3:00 pm
"We're here!" Bill said happily, pointing to the sign above the highway.
NOW ENTERING: GREENVILLE
"Yay!" Ronnie cheered. "Where are we staying?" Keith asked, taking in the surroundings. "Probably at the gas station/mechanic. Either in the car or in the store."
Bill answered. "Okay." Keith said, trying to picture this place. Suddenly, Bill took a sharp right turn into a parking lot. There it was, the mechanic shop. "We need to get some gas and spare tires here. And next door is a grocery store that we can check out." Bill said. Everyone nodded. "But first, everyone, grab your guns. Just in case of zombies." Bill said sternly. After getting weapons, the Stones got out of the car, sneaking up to the gas station. They entered, and inside it was darker, and scarier, but there were a lot of things they needed. They split up into small groups of two, clearing the aisles, making sure no zombies lurked in the shadows. They cleared the place, and began taking things. Everyone was silent. "Oil, Hmm.." Mick said to himself, deep in thought, looking through the shelves. "Well hello. Long time no see." A familiar voice sounded in Mick's ears.

Hope you enjoyed! Also I just made Greenville up I don't know if it's an actual town in England lolll
