The day wore on, the sun began to dip behind the hills. Dinner was nearing, and with it comes the planning...

"Hey Ronnie, would you mind passing the cleaning spray?" Keith hollered at Ronnie over Chuck Berry, which was playing on their record player. "Yeah!" Ronnie hollered back, throwing him the spray. "Catch!" "Thanks." As Keith and Ronnie cleaned up the mess Bill came upstairs. "Hey boys, do you know what time it is?" Bill asked. "What!?" Keith yelled. "Do you know what time it is? Also could you turn that music down? I can hear it clearly in the study downstairs!" Bill answered louder. "It's 5:30!" Keith replied as Ronnie went to turn the music down. "Okay, thank you. I need to start making dinner." Bill said as he walked into his room, stepping onto the balcony. "Hey Taylor?" Bill said as Mick T looked up from cutting the vines. "Yeah?" "I need you help me make dinner." "Okay!" "Wait, do I have finish this on my own now?" Mick whined. "Yeah, but there are only 3 more pillars for you to do, and those are in Keith and Ronnie's room." Mick T replied. "Okay." Mick said, accepting his fate. Bill and Mick T went to cook as Mick finished cutting the vines.

"Dinner!" Bill yelled. His call echoed throughout the house. Everyone filed into the dining room, taking their seats. "Oh dinner looks great!" Ronnie said excitedly. Before the Stones sat a large pot filled with beef stew, a steaming loaf of bread neatly sliced lay by its side. Mick T poured everyone a bowl of soup as Bill passed out the bread. Everyone thanked Bill and Mick T and began eating. After eating, Bill and Mick T cleared they table and sat down again. It's time. "Hold on, I need to get a few things." Charlie said as he stood up, walking out of the dining room. He entered the study and grabbed a bag, quickly returning to the dining room. "Alright, here we are." Charlie said as he revealed the contents of his bag. Inside were countless maps, pencils, a few folders and some notebooks. "Oh my, how much research did you do!?" Keith said staring in awe at Charlie's items. Charlie turned red and said, "Haha, I guess I just got hooked on it." "Anyways, I have some things I want to show you all." Charlie said. He proceeded to pull out a map and lay it on the table. "Okay, so I found a few routes we could possibly take to get to the coast." Everyone nodded in understanding. "So, this route leads up this way, it's the most direct way to get there. But the drive is very boring." Charlie waited for a response. "Well, what's the other option?" Ronnie asked curiously. "Well, I was expecting you would say that." Charlie chuckled. "The other route goes like this," Charlie said he traced his finger over the map. "It takes a few days longer, but there are a lot of interesting landmarks to see along the way." "That seems better. Why don't we do that?" Mick said. Everyone nodded in agreement, settling on the second route. "I also made a list of what we'll need." Charlie said as he laid a piece of paper in the center of the table. "We can get these things at the general store in town." Keith said, observing the list. "Good idea." Charlie said.
They continued to plan far into the night, and were set to leave in 4 days.At around 10:30, everyone was finished planning. Charlie collected his items and went back into the study, the Micks went to bed, Keith and Ronnie went on their porch for a smoke, and Bill went to bed.
"Nice night, ain't it?" Keith said to Ronnie as he breathed out some smoke. "Yeah." Ronnie replied, staring at the moon. For once, Ronnie was quiet and solemn. Highly unusual for him, but these were highly unusual times. The two stood in silence, absorbed in their thoughts, absentmindedly smoking their cigarettes. In the distance, you could hear a wolf howl. They didn't however; they were thinking. A few minutes later, Keith dropped his cigarette and smushed it with the heel on his shoe. Ronnie did the same. Ronnie began to head inside, but Keith grabbed his arm and pulled him close to him. Ronnie looked up at him, startled. Keith looked at him for a moment before pulling Ronnie in to kiss. Keith wrapped his arms around Ronnie, wanting the moment to last forever. The moonlight cast dramatic shadows on their faces, and the still night seemed to get stiller. The stars twinkled above as the fireflies floated lazily in the sky, flashing their yellow light against the dark sky. The two didn't dare move, not wanting to spoil the moment. After a while, Keith reluctantly pulled out of the kiss. Keith looked at Ronnie for a moment before grabbing Ronnie's hand, giving it a gentle squeeze, before leading him inside.
