Hiro shook his head with an amused smirk as he listened to the group's odd chatter. "Hiro," Tadashi called, motioning for Hiro to follow him, Ariyana standing alongside Tadashi, her hand interlocked with his.
"Sooo, are you taking us to see your lab now?" Ariyana asked.
Tadashi simply smiled down at her with an excited glint in his eyes as he released her hand and snaked his arm around her shoulders. "Maybe."
Ariyana grinned. "Yes!"

Tadashi led Ariyana and Hiro across the hallway and pushed open a set of frosted-glass double doors leading to his lab. The first thing they saw was the large, circular window on the back wall. Ariyana loved that window; it seemed as if all of San Fransokyo was in her hands. She always joked about how the design of the window frame looked like a poké ball.
Ariyana quickly spotted the red suitcase on the floor below the window. "Are you gonna show Hiro your project now?" Tadashi simply smiled with an excited yet mischievous glint in his eyes.
"So, uh, what have you been working on?" Hiro questioned, observing the lab's interior as Ariyana moved to stand beside him.
"I'll show you," Tadashi walked over and ripped off a piece of duct tape from a roll.
Hiro sighed. "Duct tape? Hate to break it to ya, bro. Already been invented." Ariyana giggled in amusement.
Tadashi held the duct tape strip between his teeth, biting the corner, rolled up one of Ariyana's jacket sleeves, stuck on the strip-- "Hey-- Uh-oh." --Ariyana swore she heard a soft snicker and saw a smug smirk as Tadashi ripped the strip off. "Aah! Dude! Oww!"
"Hey! What's your deal?!" Hiro glared.
A small beeping sound filled the room as the red suitcase hummed and lit up. Ariyana immediately realized she had fallen for Tadashi's little trick. "Come on! How did I fall for that again?! I shoulda know as soon as you got out that duct tape." Tadashi simply smirked and shrugged.
The suitcase top opened and a white vinyl form began to rise. Its fully inflated form revealed a large, puffy robot. "This is what I've been working on."
