Tadashi stapled an SFIT Showcase flyer onto the wall above Hiro's desk and another on the corkboard above Ariyana's dresser. "Every year, the school has a student showcase. You come up with something that blows Callaghan away, you're in. But, it's gotta be great."
Hiro and Ariyana smirked confidently, armed with notebooks, sketchbooks, and pencils. "Trust me... it will be."

Hours later, by nightfall, tons and tons of crumpled-up pieces of paper were scattered all over Hiro's desk. "Nothing! No ideas! Useless! Empty! Brain!" Hiro groaned, banging his head on the desktop in unison with his words.
"Wow. Washed up at fourteen," Tadashi chuckled from across the room, simply turning the page of his book with a smirk. "So sad." Ariyana giggled.
"I've got nothing! I'm done! I'm never getting in!" Hiro complained in defeat.
Tadashi stood up and briskly walked toward Hiro. He smacked his chair so it spun around so Hiro was facing him. "Hey." Tadashi leaned forward, his hands on the arms of the chair. "I'm not giving up on you."
