To be Young and in Love!

The Plan

"Listen. I am sorry beforehand but don't misunderstand this. Yes. We had a plan. And it has something to do with you and Isha."

~No, No way. I don't believe this. She must be probably joking.~

"We know that you don't like to receiving help in such matters. But this was our last chance to change you. How many more months do you want to grieve over someone who cheated on you but blamed it all on you?" Aarav shouted.

I didn't argue back, because a major part of me too thinks that he is right. I didn't move on from her until Isha showed up. I knew I loved her but she didn't know. And now, she loves me too, but I didn't knew until now. 

"What are you thinking?" Sakshi and Aarav asks in unison.
"Nothing. I was just thinking what to do now." 
"Really? After knowing that the one you like also likes you, what do normal people do Tara?" Sakshi busted into a red ball of flame.

~Red Alert. When Sakshi in anger calls out my name, it means that she is totally pissed off.~

"Listen. I know what to do. I wanna let her know what she means to me. But, I am scared it will end up like the last one." I said to them.

They came closer and kept a hand on my shoulder and asked me to go for it. I was not sure how would I do it, but one thing was for sure. I will do it.

"But before that, what was your plan actually?" I asked. They both looked at each other and giggled and made me sit on the bench beside. 

Sakshi started talking.
"Remember the time when we all  were on your terrace, the end of our first year. While me and Aarav were speaking upstairs, you went to get us something to eat. That is when we met Isha. She introduced her to us and we spoke for a bit. After some time you called us and said that it would take some more time for you come up and said us to wait. After your call she asked us whether that was you on the line. I thought you guys know each other as you live in the same building. I said yes and she started talking about you. Aarav was asking me to ask her whether she likes you because he thought she likes you. We had this conversation via text messages. That was funny by the way. I thought it would have been awkward if I asked her all of a sudden. So I didn't. But as soon as I was about to ask her about her class, she said that she had something to tell us. We were surprised when she said us that she likes you and she wants our help to make you also feel the same." 

Aarav and I looked at each other and nodded. 

"So, she being in the same college as mine is also a part of the plan?" I asked.
"No no. That was a coincidence which she likes to call as 'fate'" Aarav said while laughing.
"So, Aarav doesn't like Isha?" 
"Aarav doesn't like Isha in a romantic way but he likes her in a...platonic way." Sakshi said leaving us both shook. That was a very big word for her to use. Aarav was kind of proudly in a shock.

While they both were talking something, I went into another world. Thinking what would I tell her. What if like Sanjana told, someone else will confess before I do? What would I do then? I have already wasted almost half an year and I don't intend to waste another half minute too.    

"When did she see me that she fell for me?" I asked
"We too don't know that." Sakshi said.
"You should have asked her. She would have told right." I suggested them.
"You think we didn't ask her? We did ask her that too a lot of times but all she said was, 'Tara wouldn't want anyone to know' Now, you only tell her to tell us." Sakshi said while imitating Isha. Aarav smiled and pinched her cheeks.
I widened my eyes and coughed. He took his hands off her cheeks and sat back on the chair. 

~SILENCE.~

"So? Is there anything else I should know?" I asked looking at them.
They both nodded sideways indicating a no.
"Sakshi? Are you sure there's nothing? Like the guy you were talking about the other day." I asked her.
"There is another guy? Tell me that the guy is me or else.." Aarav started but then stopped and face palmed.
"So, there is something. When were you about to tell? After everyone else knew?" I asked them.

Clearing her throat Sakshi held Aarav hand and told "Aarav and I are together since 3 weeks but we both liked each other since an year." I smiled and nodded.
"I would have made her my girl if at all Isha wasn't there on the terrace that day." He said looking at me.
"Don't dare to blame it on her. You both are together now right. Be happy for that." I said while I hit on his shoulder.
"Carry on with supporting her. But when are you going to tell her though?  He asked me.
After a long gap"Now." I said and smiled. They both gave each other a hug and I too joined.

I was about to go find Isha but Sakshi stopped me and asked "You okay with us right?" 
I laughed and said "Why wouldn't I be okay. I was always rooting for you too. You are happy right. That is what I need. Now let me go and find my happiness."

She screamed from behind that she was in the auditorium. I showed a thumbs up and went that way. In between I met Isha's friends and asked them where she was. 
"She is somewhere you don't want her to be." One of the girl said.
Confused I asked her "what?"
"She is in the principal's office. She will come to the auditorium.. I mean cafeteria directly so we will wait for her in the cafeteria come." She practically pulled me.

Sakshi and Aarav were behind me and asked what was happening. I explained them what her friend has told me. "That is all bullshit. I saw her before in the auditorium." Sakshi said and we started moving there while all her friends were telling me not to go.

I stopped and shouted on them and said "I need to tell her something very important. Will you let me go without any nuisance?" They said fine in unison. One of the girl said "Don't misunderstand what you are about to see." But I wasn't sure whether that is what she said.

I went hurriedly into the auditorium while asking Aarav and Sakshi on how shall I let her know about what I feel. Sakshi went in first but she stopped me from coming in. 
"We will tell her some other time. You are not prepared of what will you tell right?"
"No. Why? You were the one who said me to go before it's too late right? Why change of mind now? I came till here, let me at least see her." 

I went inside but my eyes were blurry. I saw the last thing I wanted to see at this time. I looked at Sakshi and Aarav and asked them whether they were watching the same thing. They both nodded. Tears ran across my cheeks when I saw the girl of dreams kneeling in front of another guy holding a rose.
