Chief Inspector Donald Swanson added:
"(Catherine Eddowes)'s murderer wore black colored clothing...that was the extent of his identity". He was with PC Edward Watkins, 24, a young policeman from London Town. He had short, black hair, brown eyes, and tall.
"I don't think we should be under the influence of others, guv...There's a Ripper Sir; Jack the Ripper I call 'im...An' we'd better make sure 'e's caught", PC Edward Watkins said. He wore a blue colored Police jacket, black colored breeches, a black colored belt, and black colored boots.
"We'll catch 'im", Chief Inspector Donald Swanson, and they both made sure that they kept everyone away...As they investigated Jack the Ripper.
