Aether POV
"Hey! Come on Aether, we're gona be late!" Paimon tells me.
"Sorry sorry! let me pack this one last thing" I responded. I quickly put my last but if materials in my bag and followed Paimon down the path to Mondstadt.
"Come to think of it, we haven't seen Albedo in a while, I wonder what he needs you for again?" she questions putting her hand on her chin.
"Probably more experiments on what my body can handle" I said, "after all, i'm not a Teyvat citizen" I say giggling.
As we entered the gate to Mondstadt we hurried up the stairs to where Timaues was working near an alchemy table.
"Hi Timaeus!" Paimon says. He looks up at us, "Oh! Hello honorary knight and Paimon" he responds.
"Do you know where Albedo is? we're supposed to see him today." She says.
Right before he could answer, a familiar voice interrupted our conversation.
"I'm right here" the voice said calmly.
I jumped forwards after hearing the mans voice so close up to my ear.
"W-WOAH!" I said plunging forwards onto the ground, "ow.." I whined.
"Oh my, haha, my apologies Aether, I didn't mean to startle you" Albedo says, he then reacher his hand out infront of me. I take his hand and gain my balance.
"Are you alright? Let me see your head." he says guiding me to turn around.
"Oh my.. the back of ur head got hit pretty hard.. it looks red" he says, i start worrying about how bad it looked.
"Oh no! Aether are you okay? let me see!" Paimon quickly rushes over to where Albedo was looking.
"What are you talking ab-" Albedo puts his hand over Paimons mouth, "Come on Aether, let's go treat you in my lab" he says.
"What about Paimon?" I ask, i couldnt relatively see her in my view, but i knew she was behind me.
"Hmm... you two go ahead and go without me, i'll go get us some lunch ordered at Sara's restaurant" she insisted, before i could respond she floated away.
"Alright then, come now, i'll guide you since you must feel a little under the weather" he said taking my hand.
The whole way there I felt a little hot, being alone with Albedo made me a little flustered. That's normal to feel, right? He's a really good looking guy so it's no surprise-
"Aether!" Albedo raises his voice a little, making me lose my train of thought.
"O-oh! sorry, I was dozing out" I said, "We're at the lab, so com on in" he said opening the door for me. I walked in and immediately saw potions, bones, and many sketches Albedo probably made.
"Here, come sit on this bed" He said patting the white mat used for experiments.
"Ok!" I said plopping onto the comfortable surface.
"So, how bad is it? My head?" I ask as he goes through the cabinets for a first aid kit. I hear him chuckle a little and look at me.
"W-what's so funny?" I ask, "Well Aether, if you were paying attention to the moment of time, you would realize you didn't even fall on your head to begin with."
'huh?' I thought to myself, what's he talking about?
"You actually landed on your hands, with those good instincts of yours" he compliments while walking over to me.
Albedo sat on the edge of the mat and looked at me with a slight smile on his face.
"S-so why am I really here then, are we doing the experiments you talked about?" I ask.
"No no, those were all fake statements" he says to me, "I really just wanted an excuse..." he inches close to my face,
"to be with you" he says.
"h-huh?!" I say falling back into the mat, "t-that's nice Albedo! i'm glad i got t-to see you to!" I quickly say, blushing like a tomato.
"If there's n-nothing wrong, l-let's go eat with Paimon!" I say quickly getting up.
As I tried to get out of the lab, a force pulled me back onto a lap, "hmm..."
Words couldn't come out of my mouth, everything was happening so fast.
"Actually, there might be some 'experiments' I would like to try with you~" he says in my ear.
"How about it, Aether?" he whispers in my ear.
"S-sure"
