"Let's do this" Jay (a.k.a. Clicker) positioned himself towards me into a fighting stance.
"Right" I rolled my eyes before doing the same.
"One!" I watched as Jay's silver eyes melted into a full inky black. "Two!" I extended my claws to there full height, and repositioned my feet."three!" We both released our fangs at the same time and lunged at each other. On reflex I headed towards his feet and sweeped them up from beneath him. He landed on his back and dodged my kick to his face.
"Not good enough Brook!" I flinched as he said my name, which gave him a chance to punch me in the chest and flip me on my back. I strained against him as he smoothly pinned my hands by my head, and brung his face near mine.
"I think were done here" His eyes cleared up to reveal the same silver color, as he smirked down at me.
"Why am I that good?" I tried to keep my dignity with a fake smile, as I continued to sqirm under his grip.
"No, your that bad" He chuckled as he released me and stood up. I ignored his outstretched hand, and jumped to my feet ready to take off.
"Hey wait" I groaned aloud and whipped my head around, causing loose curls to sting my face.
"Uh, um" Jay scratched the back of his neck sheepishly and avoided my gaze.
"Spit it out already!" I threw my hands up in frustration and turned to face him fully.
"Just-um, remember to work on your fighting. You have trends, so its easy to predict what your going to do next. So to put it bluntly, you suck" He put on his already familiar smirk, and jogged off into the woods.
"Jerk" I mumbled my retort under my breath before stalking off towards my house.

"How was school?" Josh elbowed me in my shoulder and grinned.
"Shut up" I glared daggers at him before kicking off my shoes, and jogging up our wooden staircase.
"I'll take that as a 'didn't go so well' sign" I flipped Josh off in response, and slammed my bedroom door shut behind me.
Once I peeled off my school clothing and replaced it with some gray sweats and a tank top, I plopped on my bed with my mothers dairy. I carefully opened it up to the last page.
Monday, March 29th
1976Dear dairy,
Today is the day! The day where I get married to the most wonderful man on gods green earth. Thomas Green Hinderman.
One prince charming who has some wild personality. He's everything I need and want. He's my to be husband."Brook!" I glanced up in annoyance at the sound of Joshes voice.
"What!" I shut the dairy and quickly placed it back under the floor boards.
"Come down here! Quick!" I scurried down the hallway and practically fell down the stairs, as I came to a stop by Josh.
"What's wrong? Is everything okay?" I managed to gasp out the words behind greedy gasps for air.
"No time to talk, this is an emergency!" Josh grabbed me by my wrist and pulled me towards the front door.
"Josh-" I tried to yank my wrist away, but found that he was already gone and the front door was hanging open.
"Fuck'in idiot" I rubbed my wrist and let a long string of cuss words flow out of my mouth.
"Um, excuse me?" I looked up and met a pair of dark brown eyes staring down at me.
"Um...." I glanced around for Josh, but found the house completely silent. Weird.
"Hello?" I flicked my eyes back at the impatient stranger at my door.
"Who are you?" I decided to cut to the chase and stop beating around the bush.
"A guest in your house" I was still digesting this information, as he pushed by me and walked straight into the kitchen.
"Hey!" I slammed the front door closed, before racing after him.
"Mmm?" He turned towards me with a half eaten sandwich in his mouth, and a bottle of sprite in his hand.
"Get out of my house you creep! Now!" I jabbed my finger at the door and watched as he shoved the rest of the sandwich in his mouth, and chugged the rest of the sprite in one gulp. Eww...
"Listen kid—" At that moment he let out a long loud belch. I wrinkled my nose in distaste and cupped my hand over my mouth.
"Whoa, did you hear that!" I nodded slowly as he grinned and fist pumped the air.
"Best belch ever!" He turned his back to me, and began climbing the stairs."Hey!" I scrambled up the stairs after him ,and followed him into my bedroom.
"Jeez this place is girly" He picked up one of my favorite stuffed animals, Mr. Fluff.
"Hey! Put Mr. Fluff down!" I yanked the small pink bear from his grasp, and set him down gently on my dresser.
"Uh...OK" My cheeks burned as he gave me an odd look, before retreating out my door.
"Here we go again" I threw my hands up in frustration, and followed him out my door.
"Hey! Where are you?" I found the hallway empty as I checked the upstair rooms.
"Um...Mister?" I wanted to slap myself for not asking for the guys name. Where the hell is he?
I took the steps down two at a time, and scanned the living room and kitchen. Nothing.
"Well, looks like he left" I talked to no one in particular, and gave the nagging feeling that something was wrong a shrug.
I turned and sprinted up the stairs to my room. Once I was in, I locked my door and slipped under my bed covers. Everything's fine. Josh just left super quickly and....went somewhere. And the others would be back soon. They have to. And the stranger left. He's gone.
I tried to comfort myself but failed misarably. Every thought just brung more questions, and every question nagged at me for an answer. It was to much.
I felt my eye lids flutter closed. And watched silently as the dark curtain of sleep loomed over me, and took me away.
